I have seen some very good resumes from The Ladders and have actually spoken to a few. All of the resumes that were on point were from candidates that have already taken position elsewhere and, accordingly, are no longer looking for a position. Unfortunately the rest of the candidates did not qualify for these positions due to lack of either the CPA certificate or lack of relevant experience. The Ladders has provided many great candidates in a quick manner. I am grateful for the response and will keep looking to fill these positions and future openings with The Ladders.

Very professionally set up system. Able to find many opportunities using its search capabilities. Better than the run of the mill boards. You have access to compensation estimates, recruiter's name and firm, and company's name. I recommend this resource for those individuals who are conducting an executive level job search.

As an executive that specializes in transitioning businesses through changes in ownership and/or turnaround my assignments may last three to five years. When I am in transition myself, in addition to networking, I focus on those career ecommerce sites that specialize in executive postings and allow me to get more done in less time with better results. I have found that the opportunities presented to me on Ladders are a good fit both personally and professionally and the follow-up alerts when there is interest are the most useful value-added feature I have seen from any of the sites.

It takes a little while, but once your profile is complete and you've applied for a few jobs I do think that the recruiters on The Ladders tend to take the applicants more seriously. Because the recruiter is often visible and you can contact them directly, I've been able to have early communications about roles to help both us hone in on the right opportunities.
