I ordered a custom leather jacket around this time last year for my fiancée. The initial process was quite smooth - once I have the measurement details the jacket was made quite quickly and despatched to where I was staying in America at the time (I’m from the UK). The fit wasn’t quite right so I contacted Shawn again. The corrections needed weren’t too difficult and he said they’d be done free of charge. Unfortunately, once the jacket was ready I missed the email from Shawn asking where to send it and it was sent to where I had been staying in the US (and wouldn’t be going back to!). It arrived there but unfortunately no one was able to collect it to forward it to me. After a lot of back and forth, Shawn agreed to making me another jacket and sending it to my UK address. It arrived a couple of weeks ago. My fiancée hasn’t taken it off since! The fit is excellent - much better the second time around. All in all, I’m happy with the service I received. It did take a long time for everything to be sorted but it was worth it in the end. I’d order from them again but well in advance of when I might need it!

I ordered a custom jacket with logo for a trip to Germany where I was going to give seminars and wanted the jacket with our logo. I didn't get the jacket until I had returned from the trip. They offered a make up jacket which just arrived. It's truly a high quality leather jacket and I appreciate their offer to make up for the miscommunication. The jackets are high quality but are made in a foreign country so the communication can be an issue.

UPDATE: I had originally left a scathing review accusing this company of being a bunch of fraudsters, as I waited nearly three weeks for a jacket with no communication from the company. I'm happy to report my jacket actually did arrive today and it's a pretty high quality piece of work. That being said The Jacket Maker really needs to improve their tracking and distribution systems. That jacket did sit in limbo for almost 3 weeks before I accused them of being scam artists. TL;DR: Good product and definitely worth the money, but the company needs to improve its shipping and order tracking methods.
