I paid for the expedited service (6-8 weeks guaranteed). It has been 5 months and I still have no ITIN. The IRS rejected my application because the submitter was NOT a registered Certified Acceptance Agent, this is stated explicitly in the CP567 notice. Instead of acknowledging this, they blamed the IRS. The document says the opposite (I have the proof). Every single update I received was because I followed up myself. ZERO proactive communication. Without my consent, they resubmitted my application. I found out after the fact. When I asked basic questions about who filed my W-7 and for proof of CAA status, they refused to answer. When I requested to speak with a real person, I received generic non-answers. AVOID THIS SERVICE. It is a waste of time and money.

The deadlines advertised on their website were not respected. When I reached out for updates on my file, they ghosted me completely. That is why I am giving 1 star. I will never use TheITIN again and I strongly do not recommend their service.
