I paid for the expedited service (6-8 weeks guaranteed). It has been 5 months and I still have no ITIN. The IRS rejected my application because the submitter was NOT a registered Certified Acceptance Agent, this is stated explicitly in the CP567 notice. Instead of acknowledging this, they blamed the IRS. The document says the opposite (I have the proof). Every single update I received was because I followed up myself. ZERO proactive communication. Without my consent, they resubmitted my application. I found out after the fact. When I asked basic questions about who filed my W-7 and for proof of CAA status, they refused to answer. When I requested to speak with a real person, I received generic non-answers. AVOID THIS SERVICE. It is a waste of time and money.

The deadlines advertised on their website were not respected. When I reached out for updates on my file, they ghosted me completely. That is why I am giving 1 star. I will never use TheITIN again and I strongly do not recommend their service. 

This agency completely botched my US company setup by using their own agency address instead of a proper business address as promised, with zero upfront disclosure. SAM.gov rejected it outright, forcing me to pay extra to add a US partner and change the address just to fix their mistake. Unprofessional service that wasted my time and money—stay away! not even 1 start

I ordered an ITIN through TheITIN.com and had a very disappointing experience. They asked for the required documents, I provided everything, but they submitted my application to the IRS without properly checking the documents. One month later, IRS responded that the top part of my form was unreadable — something the company should have noticed before sending it. They actually informed me about this issue in the chat, but when I didn’t reply immediately, they waited one full month to send a follow-up warning email. This delay alone cost me valuable time. Later, IRS requested company documents as well — which TheITIN.com should have known from the start. Their lack of experience and attention caused even more delays. Because of these three major mistakes, I lost a lot of time and still don’t have my ITIN. I don't recommend TheITIN.com at all. It has been a complete waste of time with zero results.

Poor experience - long delays and issues with documents.

I ordered an ITIN with expedited delivery from TheITIN.com back in May 2025. It is now September - more than 5 months later - and I have received absolutely nothing. They kept asking for the same documents multiple times, wasting my time. They promised a refund of the expedite fee but never processed it. Every email is just delay after delay, always blaming the IRS, but never giving proof of submission. This is a scam service. They take your money and then disappear. I have filed legal complaints under the FTC Act and EU consumer law for misrepresentation and fraud. Do not trust this company. I'll make sure to update my review in case they answer with some BS - I repeat, do NOT trust them.

I usually never write reviews but what happened with this "company" is just a disgrace. I applied for my ITIN mid July, they told me the ITIN would be there right before September. Then, the day AFTER I asked for an update about the situation they responded with that I needed to provide more documents due to some IRS policy update (they couldn't explain in detail). They told me the extra $198 I paid for a "6-8 week delivery guarantee" would be refunded (that refund never arrived in my bank account so far). They told me I can expect the ITIN somewhere in October, so that's not 6-8 weeks but 14+ weeks. Now, I can't even log in anymore, they don't send the login link and emails dont deliver to them anymore. Biggest scam ever. Bad business.
