5 stars — Communication & Service
We’ve used The E-Commerce Accelerator and they’ve been great. Communication has been clear and responsive throughout, and the service has consistently delivered what we needed. Would recommend.

We dissolved our 85-person agency and group coaching program to create The E-Commerce Accelerator (The TEA ☕️). We help brands build their own internal agency with done-for-you support, empowering you to own and control the process of revenue generation. Not only that - We support our brands with experience, IP & systems to deliver excellence across structuring / finance / admin / tax / compliance / product / supply chain etc - Not just marketing. Although that is where we focus mostly initially to recoup initial capital investment that goes into your 'Internal Agency' build. We provide obsessively hands-on assistance to deliver high-leverage work that drives long-term sustainable profits.
The E-Commerce Accelerator (theecommerceaccelerator.com) has 75 customer reviews on Five Star Index, with an average rating of 4.9 out of 5.

Like many ecommerce founders, I'd spent years trying to find the right support to grow our business. We initially worked with an agency that delivered good results, but over time I realised our ad accounts were being optimised to make the agency look good rather than to drive sustainable customer acquisition and business growth. After that, I joined another coaching programme. Things started well, but eventually our Meta performance tanked and nobody seemed to have a clear explanation why. After half an hour on Zoom with Simon I knew TEA was going to be different. One of the biggest breakthroughs was understanding why our Meta ads had stopped performing. The TEA team helped me make sense of the major changes Meta had made to the platform and adapt our strategy accordingly. I finally feel like I understand what drives good results. Since joining, we've seen significant growth in our business. In fact, we're now facing the opposite problem - trying to keep up with demand and manage the operational challenges that come with rapid growth. What I also love is that TEA isn't just about marketing. It covers all the fundamentals of building a successful ecommerce business - from finance and forecasting to operations, systems, customer acquisition, scaling and now AI. I've been particularly impressed by how quickly the TEA team has embraced AI and helped members identify practical opportunities to improve productivity, marketing and business performance. One thing I didn't expect was how valuable the founder community would become. Running an ecommerce business can be a lonely journey at times, and being surrounded by other founders who genuinely understand the ups and downs is incredibly valuable. I've found the members to be remarkably generous with their knowledge, connections and encouragement. What really sets TEA apart, though, is the level of support. Simon and the coaching team have taken the time to genuinely understand both me and my business. It never feels like generic advice or a one-size-fits-all programme. They are deeply invested in the success of the businesses they work with and are always willing to jump in, challenge your thinking, celebrate the wins and help solve problems when things get tough. The energy and passion that Simon brings is second to none! Looking back, I wish I'd found TEA before spending money on agencies and programmes that never really helped me understand the fundamentals. It would have saved a lot of wasted time, money and frustration, and I can confidently say it has been the best investment I've made in my business.

Worked with Simon and the team as a new business and learned a tonne of fundamentals that have set us up for a lot of future growth. Really the best of both worlds - the practical support of an agency with the strategic guidance of a mentor.

Signed up with The Ecommerce Accelerator wanting to drive more D2C sales, and ended up with a tighter business across the board. They've helped pull every part of the operation into focus. Creative, paid media, email, SEO and the website. Every piece is now working together rather than being run in isolation. What I didn't expect was how much it would change me as an operator. Better focus, better decisions, less noise. Sales have grown but the bigger win is the foundation underneath them. The team are sharp, honest with feedback, and treat the business like their own. Couldn't recommend them more highly.

Simon and the crew have put together such an amazing, one-stop shop of everything ecom. I've learnt so much being in the program and there's always someone to help with whatever I'm struggling with the most each week. Highly recommended! Thanks guys!

Have a great team of experienced crew in all the right facets of our marketing strategy. Going strong - dedicated and they follow through with what they say which is a rare find in a marketing agency.

Where do I begin? We’ve worked with Simon on and off for around seven years, starting with his previous agency and now through The Ecommerce Accelerator (TEA). Over that period, we’ve also moved away and worked with other Agencies and “Gurus”… Common Thread Collective in the US, agencies in Europe, and the ecommerceequation in Australia. That probably says as much about the constantly changing, often frustrating nature of digital advertising as it does about anything else. Anyway… for whatever reason, we’ve consistently found our way back to Simon and I’m very happy that we have. During our first major period working with Simon he drove all aspects of our digital strategy and execution and our business experienced explosive growth to the point that we won the NZTE Emerging Exporter of the Year Award. Simon and his team were a significant part of that growth story. Simon is direct… sometimes uncomfortably so. He will tell you exactly what he thinks, whether you want to hear it or not. That can be confronting at times, but if you are prepared to work with that level of honesty, it becomes a major strength. What sets him apart is his relentless focus on delivering actual outcomes. In 30 years of engaging agencies, consultants, and advisers, I have rarely (if ever) come across someone so focused on what is genuinely going to move the needle. He also has a very strong understanding of ecommerce well beyond just advertising. He has co-founded a global 3PL company and supply chain business that now operates in 6 countries, he’s built his own brands, and he’s deeply connected to leading ecommerce practitioners around the world. Often, the real value in working with Simon is that he helps you understand exactly where the market is going before the rest of the market has caught up. For me, this is his greatest strength... his ability to design current, high-performance marketing strategies while many others are still trying to figure out the latest changes to Meta, Google, or whatever new algorithmic chaos has just landed on the table. I’ve watched him continually re-engineer his own offer… month after month, quarter after quarter, year after year, to stay close to the most effective global performance marketing strategies and deliver results for his clients. If you’ve read this far, I would strongly recommend booking a call.

Simon's passion for business is infectious. He has fantastic ideas, great energy, and a talented team behind him. While their launch programme wasn't a good fit for me, as soon as I reached out we were able to reach a super fair resolution within 24 hours. It would be great if the industry had that level of integrity.
