A complete piece of trash, run by low-IQ half-wits
You really have to be intellectually challenged to read the Atlantic. This is a long-time purveyor of utterly fake news. They are puppets for the entrenched states, and nothing more.

Used to be a decent magazine. What happened?

I had the same experience as other reviewers in that I never received my print magazine even though I subscribed to both digital and print in early Dec. 2024. I was able to resolve this with The Atlantic. I also found out that The Atlantic emailed promotional offers earlier this year but they were processed as gift subscriptions, which meant no address was connected to the subscription even though I had entered my address in my online account. Do this to resolve your issue with The Atlantic: Call 855-940-0585. When prompted, tap 1 for a call back. I was called back promptly and they resolved the issue. They first cancelled my current "gift" subscription then reissued a new regular subscription at no charge that doesn't expire until April 1, 2026. They turned off "Auto Renewal" in my account so I can manage my renewal myself and they're mailing me the back issues I never received. Do not email them. They never responded to my emails. I've waited weeks. The agent acknowledged they're extremely behind in responding to emails.

Great journalism. Insightful commentary and analysis. Happy to be a subscriber - and the price is reasonable.

So disappointed with the service (or lack of service) received from The Atlantic. I subscribed for the print edition 4 months ago and haven't received anything so far. I've emailed them 4 times with no response except for the automated email to confirm they received my mail. Ringing their number is a waste of time, they don't even keep you waiting, they just say nobody can answer and then you're cut off. Obviously I won't be renewing but I wish I could do more.

It appears I am not alone. Ordered print plus on line. Have not received any print editions. No response from customer service other than email received confirmation.

The writing is flowery opinion rather than persuasion w/ depth. It seems long ago when good writers became embarrassed to contribute, and stopped.

Like others, I signed up for the free trial (stupidly to read an article a friend had sent me) 2 weeks prior to the end date, I attempted to cancel online. There is no self service way to cancel. I sent multiple emails with all of my info requesting cancelation, no response. Called multiple times and either get an immediate disconnect because " No one is avaialbe" or impossible waiting times. Now will have to file a claim with Paypal because i'm sure the charge will go through. Complete scam. Horrible business.
