Not a left wing rag like the bots will tell you. Stories are nonbiased, poignant and measured. Worth the subscription.

I have been reading The Atlantic for about 20yrs now. I read a good number of politicial publications from both the left and right of politics to maintain what I believe is a balanced view. The Atlantic is extremely well written researched and edited. I have found if it makes an error or states something that is found later to be untrue, it says so unlike the right side of politics. I fully support The Atlantic. Democracy is not the normal state of mind for humans, it is the result of civilization. This is now under threat from Trumpism and the far right which means this publication is now more important than ever before.

I had the same experience as other reviewers in that I never received my print magazine even though I subscribed to both digital and print in early Dec. 2024. I was able to resolve this with The Atlantic. I also found out that The Atlantic emailed promotional offers earlier this year but they were processed as gift subscriptions, which meant no address was connected to the subscription even though I had entered my address in my online account. Do this to resolve your issue with The Atlantic: Call 855-940-0585. When prompted, tap 1 for a call back. I was called back promptly and they resolved the issue. They first cancelled my current "gift" subscription then reissued a new regular subscription at no charge that doesn't expire until April 1, 2026. They turned off "Auto Renewal" in my account so I can manage my renewal myself and they're mailing me the back issues I never received. Do not email them. They never responded to my emails. I've waited weeks. The agent acknowledged they're extremely behind in responding to emails.

Great journalism. Insightful commentary and analysis. Happy to be a subscriber - and the price is reasonable.

I signed up for the 30 day trial and attempted to cancel two days before the free trial was to end. There is no way to do that from the account page and so I emailed them. I received a reply "Due to increased volume, your reply may take a little longer than normal." The payment went through and now I have had to open a case with PayPal to try to get my money back. Absolutely shameful and shady behavior from this company. Do not sign up for anything with them, they cannot be trusted.

I just saw a interesting story in TheAtlanic.com that was very interesting on the Senior Executive Service and how its is just a corrupt as ever. These guys at this level of the United States Corporation are mostly the elite types of the various brotherhoods that do strange things in there various organizations. It's my understanding that OPM and The US Patent office are in cahoots with these guys. No wonder why our nations secrets have go to the Crown first. No wonder why America is falling apart. SES also is evolved in our for profit prisoner system as I understand it as well. It's the good old boys club all over. I'm sure some of your children are in those prisons. Maybe unjustly.
