The Ambitious ExecReviews of theambitiousexec.com

Hello, I have the pleasure of working with Jay, Joe, and Javier from The Ambitious Exec. Jay is my primary point of contact and has been exceptional in her role—she is agile and consistently provides prompt and helpful responses to my questions. Additionally, I received valuable feedback on interview questions from both Joe and Javier. Their insights were instrumental in helping me refine my responses. It has truly been a great experience partnering with such a professional and supportive team. Best regards,

I've been working with TAE for about a month now, and so far, the experience has been top-notch! The resume feedback was wonderful. They helped me take my resume from impressive to outstanding. The referral engine setup process was informative and very interesting! The training sessions, workshops, and resources available during the journey are well thought out and help to document and track progress at every turn. Great experience so far.

Working with Jay was a key part of my experience with Ambitious Exec! Jay as always is very approachable. Providing me with timely guidance to navigate my Job search. Content from Jill "Job Search Well-being" is very practical and really helpful and motivating especially during the times when energy is low. Labeling your feelings so you can act on it rather than react.

The Ambitious Exec has been a great resource in my search for my next leadership role. My program advisor, Sacha, has been a fantastic partner; supportive and truly invested in my success. The workshop trainers I have worked with: Marissa, Josh, Jay, and Javier bring insights and offer clear, practical advice that’s made a real difference. Vanessa also provided a thoughtful review of my resume and LinkedIn profile that helped me build a strong foundation for my search. The job market is tough, but with Ambitious Exec’s support, I feel much better equipped to navigate it with confidence.

I’ve been using the Ambitious Exec program for about four weeks now, and I think it’s an excellent resource for anyone looking to uncover hidden C-level opportunities. The program offers support across every stage of the journey, from optimizing your LinkedIn profile and resume to providing interview preparation and networking strategies. I had the opportunity to work with Joe to prepare for an interview, and he provided insights and potential questions that I hadn’t even considered. His advice was incredibly valuable. Overall, it’s a great program, and I highly recommend it.

The program content and the team helped me to recalibrate my thinking in a couple of important ways. Searching for an executive role for the first time in over 20 years was new enough. I had observations and impressions of platforms like LinkedIn and features that caused me to discount the utility of them. Features like skill endorsements that seemed random and meaningless, even likes and other sentiments for posts didn't register as relevant. Personal branding can seem a little too self-promoting. Posting too frequently when one represents a large organization with many industry thought leaders can also be a concern. The program provides very simple practical steps to use these features in very specific ways that elevate the profile of an executive job seeker, but initially I skimmed over them in the training materials. It was when I began to discuss my personal value proposition that my advisor Natalia first asked some very thoughtful questions that helped me to realize that I needed a change of mindset to be able to take advantage of the features that I didn’t understand the purpose for. As I crafted my personal value proposition with the coaching team these things were further re-enforced and gave me the confidence to tailor the language to use and the steps for my first referral engine campaigns. I had not heard of the LinkedIn SSI score but as I began to do the steps outlined in the program I saw an immediate impact within the first couple of days, simply because I had not been that active previously. In only two weeks my score came up 15 points and the engagement on my profile has picked up and I am getting unsolicited outreach for timely topical conversations, networking, and possible consulting opportunities. The ultimate results are still to come but I can see that there are no insignificant steps or components in the program. They clearly have been well designed, tested and refined and they are working for me.

Sacha Mohan-Boodoo is an excellent accountability coach. She holds me accountable to the next steps that I create for myself. She shows up with a positive spirit that's uplifting and encouraging.

With the new resume and LinkedIn update I got a new role as a consultant with a path toward a fulltime position. I am actually doing the work and am in the position of creating my own job description, title and negotiation on salary, etc. Great experience with Ambitious Executives.
