I was only offered $1750 for 28 grams of gold in June 2026. I declined and they sent it back. I immediately sent it to another company who gave me $2193.

Dislike the low price offer. 79.5% of the current spot price was my offer. Sent message requesting higher offer but no reply. You have 48hrs to reply to the offer, there was no decline offer link anywhere in the email. So the no reply to my message tells me they didn't care to negotiate. The item was a 1oz bar of gold, still in original package.

Alloy received my ring the 8/19/25 I was contacted by email with an offer. I did a little homework on how gold is calculated by melt value based on price of gold at that time. Also taking into account the market up of my ring at the time of sale using the highest market up of 500 % . Alloy gave me a Low Ball amount for my ring. Tried to reach someone Wednesday 8/20 to ask some questions could not reach anyone. Left messages also tried to go thru email that offer was given was told to call late Wednesday 8/20 someone finally reached out. After addressing the amount they upped the amount by by $40 the business card with the kit it said share referral code and get extra $10 was told I didn't qualify for that since they were giv me additional $40 on top of what they were offering. After receiving the offer I did a little homework on how to calculate value of melted gold. Using that formula and current price of gold I was low balled on what Alloy was offering me for my ring. My ring was also help hostage by Alloy . By the time they reached out to me on Wednesday 8/20 they said it was to late to send ring back . They only send merchandise back on Wednesday by FedEx. 2 day delivery. It's amazing today Wednesday 8/27 between 4:30 to 4:45 pm est. I received my ring back via FedEx. Which means they sent it before today. Which means the person I spoke to last Wednesday Lied. Another company I requested a kit from asked for me to send any info I had pertaining to what kind of ring I had I took pictures of the lifetime guarantee which listed the caret of the diamond ring the cut and quality of the diamond I also sent pictures of the ring it self. I also included that the gold was 14 kt gold 4.5 grams this was based on Alloy Info. and the price of gold that day. I was given a better price than Alloy. Granted that was site unseen. I was not impressed with Alloy at all . I definitely didn't appreciate them not sending my ring back Immediately after me not accepting there offer. Telling me Wednesday is the only day they can ship out and it's two day delivery and I miraculously receive the ring today Wednesday 8/27 the same day they said was the earliest they could ship it out. I was nice when I gave them a 2.

Originally on or around 08/20/2025, my review of Alloy was a 5 star review. After Alloy returned my "fake" jewelry while keeping the real jewelry, I called them and asked what was the issue with the stuff they called "fake". Their answer was (this is me paraphrasing) my "fake" stuff had other metals mixed in with the silver and gold... Well isn't that how jewelry is made? 14k gold has other metal added to it to help keep its form et cetera? So, my assumption is they were too lazy to look at all the jewelry I sent them or they have no idea what's going on there OR possibly mixed me up with another customer... Today's date is 10/28/2025. Nonetheless, next time I went with Express Gold Cash. I sent them all the "fake" stuff Alloy sent back to me and some more stuff and I received a wonderful offer and of course accepted it. Alloy may be a good choice for some but I haven't sent them anything since then. I have worked with Express Gold Cash five or six times since then and I'll continue to use Express Gold Cash if the amazing very fair offers they give me keep coming!
