Decent solution for the very few that actually need it.
Very nice service for a niche group of people. I have to do a lot of sms verifications on different websites for my business and I don't like using my real phone number because of the risks involved with that. That is why I checked out textverified. You get charged $0.25-$1.00 per single verification code and you have 5 minutes to sign up. It took a couple tries to get used to but it's actually very efficient and easy once you get the hang of it. If you're looking for a secondary permanent phone number this is not the service for you as they only do sms verifications. The reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is because as I mentioned before you only have 5 minutes and you only get one code unless you pay a little more. It's incredibly easy to mess up and having to completely start over and spend another $0.50/$1.00 each time seems very predatory. And with most platforms requiring multiple sms verifications to get set up you will need to pay for an extension for each code.

Thanks for taking the time to give such detailed feedback. We’re glad Textverified has been useful for keeping your personal number separate from the services you verify with. One-time verifications are intentionally short-term, but we understand how the limited window can become frustrating when a platform asks for multiple codes or the signup process takes longer than expected. We do suggest to get a Rental if you need a number more than once and may save you money in the long run. Thanks again for the feedback.
