Horrible experience!
Ordered one book & they sent a completely differently book title by different authors & in the Czech language! It was not a marketplace 3rd party order, Apparently they don't look at titles before they ship. It took 4 days for a response by email & no apology was given & they blamed it on their shipper who they said they would contact to see if the ISBN had been reused (not supposed to happen). 10 days later, 4 emails, 1 phone call (I had to contact the BBB to get that) & after filing a reversal from my credit card company, THEN the CS "manager" responds with 'their shipper won't respond to them & that sometimes out of print books are reissued ISBN's. That was a lie, ISBNs are never reissued from out of print books nor any other books. If it is done it is done illegally but this CS manager was clueless about the process & trying to deny any responsibility while at the same time finally issuing a refund at the point of a credit card company transaction dispute. The comment I've read by them below of Textbookx claiming they always respond in 24-48 hours is also a lie, Like I said it too 4 days for a response the first time & 10 more days the 2nd time. Still no apology for THEIR mistake. They will not advertise their phone number likely because they would be deluged with complaints. Their feedback here says it all.

Hi Mark, We actually do not sell any Intl. Editions and any and all of our Used titles would come from 3rd party sellers or outside vendors. I am unable to comment on your exact case because all you've left is your first name and not your order ID. We answer any and all of our emails within 24 to 48 hours I could also check your email to see if we ever received one from you. If you emailed a 3rd party seller it's possible they took longer to respond they are considered their own entity and do not follow our policies. Again, I can't comment on specifics because you did not leave any specific information your order. There are times when publishers will reuse ISBNs we've seen this when titles are out of copyright and are considered free like ebooks you've seen on Gutenberg.org, outside entities can print those titles and use ISBNs so we've run into issues where books will have the same ISBN. It does sound like an outside vendor shipped the item because as I said we do not carry used titles typically those come from outside vendors like Ingram, FirstClass or TBC. It sounds like this was just a warehouse shipper error but if you've received the refund then there really isn't more we can do for you. I'm glad you were able to get the refund though because if you were sent the wrong book you should not pay for an item you did not order. I'm sure you can also tell by the responses to the feedback on this site that many times it is not necessarily our fault.
