Terrible Customer Services and Return Policy. This company claims a 30 day money back guarantee and the charges you a 10% restocking fee but if you refuse the package you only loose 5 dollars. Be aware of the policy and if you end up purchasing keep in mind this. The customer service wait time is also ridiculous you would think they only have one representative the way the call system is set up by the wait time depending on so many as 20 customers before you. With a repetitive response of would like to keep waiting for a representative every 10 seconds which is annoying if you would not like to wait you would just hang up. I would suggest you order your textbooks form Cheggs lower prices and better customer service with a honesty 21 day money back guarantee.

Yep, it's a scam.
Yep, it's true. This company is a scam. They had the book I needed at the best price so I bought it, right? I waited more than the allotted amount of time it says they usually allow for processing, but it still hadn't been shipped from the company. I emailed to ask what was the hold up, and about a day later I got an email saying my order had been canceled. They wrote: "TEXTBOOKX.COM regrets to inform you that your order has been CANCELED and will not be shipped to you. Marketplace items are canceled or confirmed by the individual sellers. Retail items are canceled due to a shortage of stock in our warehouse. Please be assured that you will not be billed for this order. We apologize for the inconvenience."
THEY were the ones who did not have the inventory. I was not buying on their marketplace from another company. So I was super angry, made sure I didn't get charged for it, and started shopping again, right? Days later and they still have that book listed as available and for sale through a number of different websites. The seller is TextbookX. They are liars and just try to get people to buy a book at the lowest price, but then cancel. What do they think will happen? The book will magically appear in their inventory??? I ordered for more money from Barnes and Noble and the book will be on my doorstep tomorrow because at least B&N is a REAL company and not some idiots.

I ordered a book off Barnes & Noble
I ordered a book off Barnes & Noble, the seller was THIS company (TextbookX). When I got the book, it was a FREAKING PHOTOCOPIED book in a BINDER, not the book in the picture! It was also the 2012 edition! Freaking 2012!!!!!! I'm IRATE. I looked at the return policy and it'll take 4 weeks to get my money back. Just forget it. I'll try and study from this and make the best of it. Lesson learned. Read the reviews first. Shame on you Barnes & Noble for allowing this company to piggyback off your good name, because now I don't trust YOU!!!!

Worst customer service EVER
Worst customer service EVER. They do not have respect for anyone, and are not professional. They lost my book, then cancelled my order, and did not let me know. Mind you I ordered my book two weeks in advance. I have definitely learned my lesson, I will never order from here again. Every person in this company is horrible from top to bottom.

Fraudulent business practices
I ordered 2nd Edition software with eBook. I received the package, opened it, loaded the serial number into Hawkes Learning and there was no eBook code that was valid. Emailed the company, but as I was looking around the Hawkes site, I noticed the cover of my package was different from the 2nd Edition cover. I looked and they had covered up the original ISBN with a sticker with a new ISBN. They sent 1st edition software with a 2nd edition sticker to pass it off as the most recent software. I am awaiting a reply to see if they will make it right but when I company goes to this length to pass off old software as new, people need to know to look at what they buy from them very closely.

Will never use again - Fraudulent.
I purchased a textbook bundle for my classes. This bundle included hardback books and equivalent electronic books. The bundle was $2000 (roughly). Within a week, I receive an email that some of the items in the bundle were backordered, and shipment will be delayed. I called to inquire about how long it would take, and if nothing else if electronic book cards from my bundle could be shipped, and the rest of it shipped when the stock arrived. I got a response stating "We are sorry, sir - but the bundle will all come in one shipment, we can not break it apart"
After about a month, I received a box. I was so excited! I opened up the box to find 10 out of the 21 books that were supposed to be in the bundle. WAIT A MINUTE?.. I thought that the bundles couldn't be broken up. There were no electronic book cards in the box either. Awesome! Classes are fully in session and I have half of my books, barely. I contacted customer service, and they instructed me to email what books I received (You would figure they would have record of what books they put in the box, but I guess not.) I emailed my university's marketplace coordinator, with all books I received and those that I did not. She stated she would work with them from here.
After about 1.5 months, I was provided the electronic books by the publisher. This result occurred, because my professor called the publishers and worked out a deal. At this time, I have not received any messages from textbook or any correspondent.
Now here we are, 10/12/2016, borderline 2 months after classes started. I still do not have my books that I paid for. The publisher took a hit monetarily to provide me Electronic books that textbookx did not provide me. I did, however, receive an email today from them.
"Hello Clay,
Firstly I would like to apologize for the delay on our part in attempting to resolve your issue with your bundle. Although we're glad to hear the publisher was able to send the missing items at their expense to you, we feel you deserve more for your unnecessary delay and want to do our part to compensate you directly. Below is a code that can be used on the *** University's online bookstore to purchase your books for next term. It has a value of $100.
Kind Regards,
TextbookX Team"
I would like to preface the next segment with 'Thank you.' Thank you for the kind email, and the offer of $100 for my troubles.
However... You are glad that the publisher sent books (I was provided Ebooks, not my hardback books) to me at THEIR OWN expense so you didn't have to send books at YOUR expense? More like MY expense at this time. You are glad that I provided you $2000 for a book set, and you sent maybe $500 worth of books to me., and aren't required to pay the publisher or me our money back for services you did not provide? As payment for not having books for half my semester, you felt bad and gave me $100 to use at your store. Thanks, but no thanks. I will not be using your services again. I welcome you to provide that discount to the next person you can con. Maybe if you are lucky, the publisher will send their books at their expense, so that you can rake in the profits.
At least you were nice in the email.. That is a start. However, that does not justify any more stars than 1. I would give 0 stars if I could. It is a fraud to charge for a service, and not deliver that service. It is a fraud to have another company provide the service at their own expense, and you not refund my money to me so that I may properly pay the publisher for their service. I will be contacting a lawyer about getting my money back.
I would not recommend using this company. There are much better places to order books that will not fraudulently take your money, make you wait ages for books under a façade of a backorder, then pass the expense to another company.

PAID FOR EXPEDITED DELIVERY
I PAID EXTRA, (A LOT EXTRA) FOR EXPEDITED DELIVERY AS I ADDED A CLASS A WEEK AFTER CLASSES BEGAN AND NO BOOKS WERE AVAILABLE IN THE BOOKSTORE. STILL TOOK OVER A WEEK TO DELIVERY. HAD TO EMAIL THE SELLER AND HIS RESPONSE WAS, "SORRY ABOUT THAT, IT WAS MY MESS UP" NEVER DID SAY IF IT WAS MAILED EXPEDITED OR HE JUST FORGOT TO MAIL IT WHEN HE SHOULD HAVE.
WILL NEVER BY FROM THIS SITE AGAIN. DO NOT RECOMMEND
