The worst Place To Buy Or Sell Textbooks. I Sold a textbook on May 6 It was delivered on the 11th an I was supposed to receive my payment on the 22nd ive called 3times getting the run around until I finally called the 4th time an they tell me my payment is going to be made on the 7th of next month which is totally unacceptable due to the fact that I followed all instructions and delivered there book on time

I ordered a $163 textbook once on my computer late at night on the weekend. The order went through twice. I cancelled the second order when I got email confirmations for two orders. Then on Monday morning at 9:40am Eastern time, I cancelled the second order BEFORE they even opened for business at 10am Mountain time. I got free shipping by accepting slow service. NOOOO. They shipped both books and charged my bank twice BEFORE they read their email. Their website says, "Need to contact the Online Bookstore customer service department? Standard Email Best way to contact us - we answer emails quickly!" That's what they said. (They knew they'd make money anyway on the hidden restocking fee.) I returned the books immediately, paying postage and insurance. It takes them two weeks to process returns in the warehouse. I'm a struggling student with $336 missing from my checking account. They don't care. A month later, they finally get around to the refund, but it's 10% short. Restocking fee. ON THEIR MISTAKE. They won't take responsibility! I have ordered books before this experience, but never again. This is a crooked company with RUDE customer service. I'd be embarrassed to say i worked there! May 4th follow-up: These excrement heads wouldn't budge to do right UNTIL I contacted the Better Business Bureau in Connecticut complaints AT ct.bbb.org Then they did the right thing... This sorry company cares more about looking good than doing good. Steer clear!!!!

My book was suppose to be here two days ago. Money's already out of my account and now the cancel my order

Worst company ever! Accidentally ordered the same book twice, customer service is helpless, couldn't even tell me the address to ship it to. I'm going to end up selling one book online myself.

TextbookX, your customer service program is a FAIL. I ordered a book for my daughter back in November. Fast forward a month, and still no book. According to the tracking system, it is clearly lost. I explain all of this to customer service by phone. (This is after my email communication to the company was ignored). My ask was to get a refund (about $15) and that I would get the book from a more reliable vendor because so much time has passed and the student needs it ASAP. Their response? That I need to *physically go* to the post office to resolve this mystery - in the middle of the holiday crush. Never mind that the post office is essentially a black hole, and that it shouldn't be on me to resolve the company's shipping issues. Both the customer service rep and the manager pushed this, and refused to help me otherwise. I spent 30 minutes out of my work day dealing with this and refuse to spend another minute more. I'm taking my business elsewhere.

Rubbish! Took ages choosing the best store to buy my books only to later they say my order was cancelled due to shortage of stock!

I AM THREE WEEKS INTO MY CLASS AND I HAVE YET TO HEAR FROM THEM. THEY WERE QUICK TO TAKE MY MONEY BUT ZERO DECENCY TO SEND AN EMAIL WITH UPDATES OR EVEN TRACKING NUMBER. DISGUSTED THAT THIS IS EVEN AN OPTION WITH THE SCHOOL AS A BOOK SOURCE. I WANT MY BOOK OR GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK ASAP! REPORTING TO BBB!

Normally I don't do reviews but textbookx had the worst customer support that I have ran into, not only did my book not ship after 13 days but when I email them, I don't receive any replies on the situation and this is only causing me to further fall behind in class. If you need textbooks I would never recommend textbookx to anyone. If you want your books for sure use Amazon or any other source to receive your books
