So far it's has been nothing but a con job. I've done everything I was directed to do. My soon to be ex made changes and I approved them. I paid more money. Now they keep asking me for more money. They are refusing to move forward even though I have a copy from my bank and the email showing. It's a scam. I can't move on and they keep holding my divorce hostage for more money. I've called and they say "oh we can see you've paid. But..." The positive reviews have to be a scam. This company is playing games with my life and are unwilling to move forward until I give them even more money. They will keep take your money while saying you never paid. Be careful. Actually, don't use them. EVER!

Update- Partial Refund Received, Then Communication Stopped
Texas Divorce Online eventually refunded me $530.45, but there is still $36.55 of my money that remains unresolved.
I originally paid a $400 Court Fee Deposit. Texas Divorce Online now claims the actual court costs were $363.45, leaving $36.55. According to their own calculation, that $36.55 was applied toward their $196 Final Fee, reducing the separate payment I had to make to $159.45.
They refunded the $159.45 payment, but not the additional $36.55 of my money that they acknowledge was applied toward that same service fee.
When they sent me their calculation, I responded using their own numbers and explained that if the $36.55 from my court deposit was transferred toward the Final Fee, then it became part of the $196 service fee. Therefore, if that service fee is being refunded, the $36.55 should be included as well.
I also asked them to provide a receipt or itemized documentation showing that the $363.45 they claim was actually paid in court costs was paid on my behalf.
After I raised those points and requested proof, they stopped responding to my emails. I have still not received the $36.55 or documentation supporting the $363.45 court-cost figure.
I appreciate that they eventually refunded $530.45, but this remaining amount and the lack of documentation are still unresolved.

They're careless
They didn't receive a file from the online notary they use. then told me it was my fault. Then they forgot to file the decree for the judge to file. I mean it looks filed, but the court doesn't have it. Which means they put no care into their work.
They're careless. They're unreachable to fix things. Avoid.

Do not use them they start on my case…
Do not use them they start on my case did not explain the process. If you paid for notarized waivers you will not get it and if you try to make payment for court fees to them , the banks shows them to be flag for fraud, I contact them and ask them for my paperwork to file at the court and they end my process with them with out notice also like I mention before I ask them to sent me the notarized paperwork i paid didn’t get it they are just a scam

Just do it yourself
I started the process for an uncontested divorce with Texas Divorce Online on January 20, 2026. I paid $195 upfront, plus $370 in county filing fees. By January 28th, all of my documents had been submitted to them, and by February 5th, I had paid their remaining $170 balance in full.
We both signed everything required of us. Despite that, it took until May 25th for the documents to be notarized and the filing to be submitted to the court. The last update I received was June 2nd.
By mid-June, after hearing nothing further, I contacted my county clerk myself. I was told that the final decree had never been submitted and that the last document they had received was the Affidavit of Prove Up on June 2nd.
What followed was weeks of incredibly frustrating communication with Texas Divorce Online. I called repeatedly, was hung up on multiple times, and was repeatedly told that they had submitted the documents, with one person telling me that the county clerk was wrong. I eventually had to call multiple times a week just to get them to send me a PDF copy of my own decree so that I could take care of the process myself.
Once I went directly through the local court, I learned that the documents prepared for me were also missing information required for a Texas divorce. I had to correct the paperwork, add the missing information and documents, have everything signed again, essentially finishing the process myself.
I submitted the corrected paperwork on August 5.
My divorce was approved on August 6. The very next day.
That is probably the most frustrating part of this entire experience. Once the court actually received complete and correct paperwork, my uncontested divorce was approved in ONE DAY. Had the paperwork been properly prepared and submitted correctly, this wouldn’t have dragged on for so long.
Their emails also indicate that the company operates out of Nevada. I can’t speak to their overall knowledge of Texas divorce law, but I can speak to my experience: the Texas divorce paperwork they prepared for me was incomplete, the court did not have the final document they repeatedly told me had been submitted, and I ultimately had to correct and complete the process myself.
I paid for this service specifically so I would not have to navigate the legal paperwork and filing process on my own. In the end, that is exactly what I had to do.
If you’re considering using Texas Divorce Online for an uncontested divorce in Texas, I strongly recommend contacting your county clerk directly and just going through the process yourself. The district attorney’s office was more helpful.

Do not use them it’s a fraud I paid 400…
Do not use them it’s a fraud I paid 400 in total and they never sent me the divorce decree I kept calling and they would continue to tell me they are sending it and never did, I have no money to pay another lawyer and I don’t know what I’m going to do now!

Absolutely horrible
Absolutely horrible. I paid and filled out all information a month ago. The automated response said would take up to 3 business days. After 4 follow up emails to them, still have not heard back from them. Tried calling number and cant even leave a voicemail due to mailbox being full.
I highly suggest doing research getting documents yourself and using the free resources that are provided.
DO NOT USE THIS SCAM OF A SERVICE

Do not engage with this company
Do not engage with this company. I paid the $199 to have the documents drafted. I reviewed them and my spouse did as well. Then I paid $176 for the online notary. Before the documents can be notarized you also have to pay the filing fee. For Texas it is $350. They charge a $50 additional fee. I wanted to use Zelle to send the money as I felt it was safer than sending a money order, which are the only options they provide for the filing fee. My bank canceled the pay due to flagging the website/company as a scam company.
I requested a refund for the $176 notary fee since my documents were never notarized. They only approved a $100 refund. I went back and forth with them through email as no one is ever available via phone. They state the creating of the documents as the reason to keep the $76. However, I paid $199 to have the documents drafted. The $176 was for a service I never received.
I finally got tired of arguing with them as they are obviously a scam company and just took the $100 they offered to return to me.
They claim that when you sign up and pay you agree to some terms of service. They even sent me a link to the terms of service. When I clicked on the link it showed that the notary service was $35 per person. I pointed this out to them, and they send me another link that now says the fee is $80 per person, plus a processing fee.
I wish I would have read the reviews before engaging with this company. I am not usually one to read reviews. After this experience I will be sure to do my due diligence going forward.
I don't understand why their website says they have 4.8 stars out of 5. This seems like false advertisement to me.
