I had a great privilege to work with Matias Gonzales as my tutor. Even though generally speaking I am not a big fan of tutoring, Matías was recommended to me by Celeste with TestMax and as it turned out it was an excellent fit. Matias is an exceptional teacher, listener, interlocutor, and has a fine understanding of individual student's needs and skills. He certainly inspired me with his attitude and I really think that the tutoring hours spent with Matias were my most intensive study time. He also assisted me with creating a game plan, utilizing all the TestMax wonderful resources, just a few weeks prior to the exam time, and held me accountable for it. I would recommend Matias Gozales to anyone seeking individual assistance with bar exam preparation, whether this would be just an extra study boost or a tutoring guidance over a certain period of time.

Matias is the absolute best tutor you could ask for. He is organized, professional and truly cares about his students. I worked with him for 3 months prior to taking the UBE. He immediately identifies your strengths and weaknesses and tailors a personal study schedule for you based on your personal schedule. His method for writing the MEEs and the MPTs is clear and easy to understand and will surely land you on the pass list. I truly cannot recommend him enough- you will thank me if you hire him!

William Noetling is an excellent representative of the TestMax brand. I regularly interacted with him during my three months of bar prep and he went above and beyond to assist me every single time. He helped make bar prep with TestMax an incredibly positive experience. My interaction with William is one of the reasons I have recommended TestMax to my peers.

Matías is a phenomenal tutor, guide, resource and extension of the BarMax program. I can wholeheartedly say that I would not have sat for the February administration of the bar without his support and guidance. I literally planned to reschedule for the July test when, as a last resort I decided to try private tutoring. From the very first session I felt a weight lifted off of my shoulders and psyche. Matías helped me schedule every aspect of my studying going forward and I was able to utilize this schedule along with our individual sessions to prepare to the best of my ability for the bar exam. Study tools, test insights, essay/MPT strategies, fail safe MBE approaches, and time management are just a small array of the methodology provided by Matías. I entered the test with more confidence and preparation than I could have ever imagined. I’m thankful and grateful for Matías and would absolutely recommend his services to anyone looking to conquer the bar in a stress free, practical manner.

Matias is an excellent tutor. He invests himself in his students as he truly cares about their success. He is great at identifying areas in which you may be weak and need improvement then will work with you and adjust, as needed, to make sure you get to where you need to be on bar exam day. I worked with him over a four month period in preparation for the Uniform Bar Exam and steadily watched my scores increase on all sections of the Bar Exam as I continued to practice them and turn them in for feedback. He will give you a good talking to if you need it (and I regularly did), but it is only because he cares and is invested in your success. Among other things, he is a master at teaching you how to work on the Bar Exam within the limited time constraints. I never could have timely finished the entire exam under such strict time constraints without his help showing me how to organize and write my answers. If you hire him, you will not be sorry!

I purchased the private tutoring package with TestMax. Every week, Matías and I would meet to go over any areas that I had weaknesses, including essays. Matías taught me techniques that I used on the bar exam that allowed me to write effectively and efficiently. Matías was able to provide emotional support as well, since he has gone through the process himself. Thank you! Bar Exam Results EDIT: I passed the UBE Bar Exam with a score over 300.

LSATMax helped me increase 20 points from my diagnostic score! The office hours with the tutors, on top of the video lectures, were extremely helpful to figure out how the real experts think about the test and go about solving problems in each section. The lectures are great and the course is very complete! Some tools like being able to see your performance on specific question types were super helpful for me in tackling my weaknesses!
