I finally passed the Texas UBE exam on my 3rd try. I honestly never thought I would pass. I found BarMax through a family member who offered to pay for the program. When I started using the program all I could think was how easy it was and simple to follow. The program was easy to follow and no hours of home work after. It was simply, listen to the lecture and do some questions open book style. I quickly realized I was retaining information and actually learning the black letter law. Additionally, there are tons of videos on how to write an MPT and Essays and how to write an Essay on each topic. The videos with Celeste (an instructor for BarMax) explained everything so well. She taught me how to write an essay and how to tackle the MPT. I can't thank BarMax enough for helping me finally pass. It truly is a dream come true. Follow their program and you will pass the bar exam.

I only went to law school and then clerked at a law office. After using Barmax I passed the virtual NYS Bar exam on the first try. Highly recommended.

I was excited to start BarMax because it promoted a more cindensed approach to bar prep. Throughout the process there were times that I was skeptical of BarMax’s advice regarding study techniques, and study material. However, I decided to trust their advice even if it did not seem ideal at times. I had failed the California bar twice with BARBRI, and decided to take the UBE with BarMax. I can happily say that I passed the UBE with a 275! BarMax takes an unconventional approach because rather than giving you a large quantity of detailed study materials, it sticks to the most important and common topics. At first I thought that I was missing a significant amount of crucial information, however I later found BarMax’s approach to be incredibly helpful.

BarMax helped me pass the UBE. 13 years ago I graduated from law school and passed the bar exam. I moved to another state and needed to take the UBE so I got BarMax. I worked full time throughout my prep. I listened to all the lectures, answered a ton of the mbe questions. I studied some flash cards and followed BarMax directions for preparing for the MEE. Now, I could get licensed to practice in Alaska if I wanted to do so. BarMax was instrumental and a great value.

I took the UBE 5 years out of law school and after passing the bar in a non-UBE jurisdiction. I chose BarMax because of the no-frills, direct approach. It’s very important to use actual MBE questions to prep and BarMax uses only real MBE questions. They also have prior MEE&MPT questions with the point sheets AND more importantly model answers from real examinees that show what is expected to PASS. In my opinion, the best part is Office Hours which taco tricky subjects in practical ways. I passed comfortably the first time around and can’t thank BarMax enough for being JUST what I needed, and nothing extra.

I wish I had started with Bar Max. I took the Bar in July and missed by 4 points. I started with Bar Max as soon as I knew I had to retake the test. I watched the videos and followed the basic structure of their plan. The staff was wonderful and supportive. I just got my results and I passed with a score of 284! That is almost a 30 point jump in score. I not only passed the bar for the state I was taking but also passed at a level I can be licensed in any state that accepts the UBE!. I come from Puerto Rico a civil law jurisdiction based on Spanish law and concepts. As a general rule we do not discuss common law principles in areas such as real property, contracts, family law, wills, etc. I was completely new to those areas (also Trusts) and BarMax made it very easy for me to learn and understand all the legal concepts and to focus my practice in key essays and MBE’s to maximize my time and effort. The materials, questions, schedule and the office hours made all the difference. I scored over 290 in the UBE which allows me to practice law in any of the 42 jurisdictions!
