I am a Canadian lawyer, and a single mom of an 18 month old. BarMax and the team, specially Celeste, were vital to my success. I passed with 8 points to spare, on my first try. Celeste helped me to restructure my study plan according to my life situation. She gave me practical tips, guided me on how implement the feedback on my essays and never let me give up after not performing too well in the practice exams. I do have one constructive criticism about the course material- the lectures are extremely dry and are almost read word-for-word from the outline which I did not find as helpful and had to supplement with the BarMax office hours (HIGHLY RECOMMEND!) and other free resources online, to better grasp the material (though this may not be an issue for U.S. law school graduates). All around I highly recommend BarMax!! If I did it with all of the life challenges I was facing- anyone can!!

Everything is explained so thoroughly and they answer any questions I might have in their general explanations of topics. There is a perfect amount of questions to videos ratio which allows me to practice and master the skills before I move on to the next topic. I also am simply enjoying this course; I thought studying for the LSAT would be grueling and boring, but this course is making it fun. I am so grateful for the people that make these videos and are able to convey their knowledge in such simple and easy-to-learn ways. Definitely worth the money!

My scores are improving daily based on my mini practice test. I tried 7Sage and I didn't walk away with quick comprehension skills like LSATMax. LSAT constant drills keep me motivated and I found their highlighting and underline RC approach helpful. I even use the RC approach and tools on my LG questions. I also had a free trial with Blueprint and they did not have a mobile app and drills like LSATMax. LSAT is worth every penny.

I PASSED! I am a 44 year old and it has been 17 years since I graduated from law school. I studied for the bar exam using Barmax. The materials were concise and not overwhelming. All the questions were from previous bar exams. The support staff, particularly Celeste, was incredibly helpful in answering questions, navigating the study calendar, and providing additional guidance. I was very happy with my bar prep choice.

BarMax outlines were a life saver! Do yourself a favor and get all of the black letter law you need with BarMax. I scored a 152 on the MBE using them along with the multiple choice questions provided.

I cannot thank BarMax enough for getting a 317 at the UBE exam. The first time I signed up for the bar exam, I used Barbri and I was overwhelmed by its tight study schedule, vast materials and different versions of outlines. I experienced severe anxiety and had to withdraw from the exam. This time I used BarMax and it is a completely different experience. I was able to set my own schedule and the system is so flexible that it allows me to start 6 months before exam date and to study as much as I want everyday without sending me behind-schedule reminders. It kept my anxiety level low. The message board for the MBE questions, instructors' historical answers and real questions and official explanations from the NCBE are all very helpful and effective. The explanations from instructors are clear and so consistent that every time I read their explanation, it refreshed my memory of the rules and gave me confidence. It got me through the prep process and I actually felt ready for the exam. I am not sure I would have done it so well had I not chosen BarMax.

BarMax is an amazing bar prep course. The lectures, subject matter outlines, MBE practice questions, and office hour videos that review specific subject areas on the MBE and MEE are all excellent. I have to say though that the most critical element in my bar prep study was the one on one personalized tutoring! I had the privilege of working with Matias Gonzalez as my tutor. Matias helped me focus my bar prep study by assessing my strengths and identifying my weaknesses. He helped me to develop a custom study schedule that focused on specific areas in order to improve my performance on both the MBE and MEE. Over the weeks and months of studying together we fine tuned my approach to essays and pinpointed specific skills needed to do well on both MBE and MEE questions. Matias helped hone my writing to be more concise and clear, he helped me develop specific formatting and approaches for essays, he helped me develop precise rule statements and showed me the best ways to memorize rules, and most importantly he helped me in the application of the rules to the facts, all of which drastically improved my performance on the MEE. In addition, we reviewed numerous MBE questions together every study session and Matias helped me to focus on knowing the answer to each question before looking at the answer choices, this strategy helped me to know the specific rules and how they were being tested on the MBE. After each tutoring session I felt more empowered and confident in my abilities and better prepared for the exam. Matias is very personable and his infectious enthusiasm and encouragement helped me to learn and develop the skills I needed to pass the bar. I highly recommend BarMax and, in particular, Matias Gonzalez as a tutor for your bar preparation.
