I need to be able to create quizzes as I need them like adaptibar. I had to get adaptibar for this reason.

You call it "Barmax sometime and Testmax other times. You need to be consistent across the board. I would like a better breakdown of the MBE scores. I think I should be able to see where I am % correct for each subject and then a total overall where I am at. Right now, analytics provides where I am for the day, which is nice, but there could easily be more.

It's hard to navigate the MBE questions and go to specific questions.

I like the way the website is set up. However I find many spelling errors, which may possibly be scripting errors. Mehran in my opinion is the best at explaining things, also there is a female that I notice in the logic games review videos. I really think she is wonderful too. Sometimes I wish you folks would take into account that many people coming here are clueless as to argumentation...logic, and possibly offer a little more detail in the response to questions. The analytics sections is in my opinion one of the best online because it allows me to take a question type I may have problems with and provides me with a ton of questions to work with....also the ability to reset your answers in great too. Last but not least, I believe Ravi Reddy is one of the best RC tutors you folks have. Ravi is really good at explaining a lot of things, although he moves a little slow, I believe it is to the benefit of your customers...the student.

If you can purchase the base course 180 on a sale, it may be worth it. I went through the course and tried watching their office hours after my practice tests but I only raised my score with their program by 3 points. If you have oodles of money to spend on tutoring, I’m sure you have a more positive experience. For me, since I work full time I couldn’t participate in office hours to ask live questions and I don’t have the budget for tutoring hours. I feel like I wasted what few dollars I did have since I’m still 10+ points away from my goal score.

Positives and Negatives Positives: MBE were helpful including lectures. I did over 1,000 questions and more than likely contributed to my passing of CA Bar exam. Negatives: The essay lectures were really bad. Almost 90% of the essay lectures were useless as the lecturers were reading the outlines without explanations of the subject discussions. The only helpful essay/MBE lectures were Civil Pro and Corporations where lecturers took time to explain issues and provided examples and cases for references. Summary: I passed because I listened to other lectures outside of Bar/Testmax (listened to BarExam Tool Podcasts and were 100% more helpful than Barmax). I also created my own outlines to understand the rule and used OneTimers outlines where I found wealth of explanations about the rule which leads to good to excellent analysis of the rule. Would I recommend BarMax; Yes to utilize the MBE questions banks but NOT for anything else. The problem with the lecturers and creator of this program is that they assume you are as skilled or knowledgeable as the lecturers regarding the subject. They don't know how to teach.

I really appreciate a lot of things about TestMax, but I found the California specific material to be very poorly done - the lectures in particular just read from the outline and did not help me understand. It was hard to get through the content. I also used supplemental materials for flashcards, since I found the way the flashcards were structured to be hard to memorize. There was too much information on the a lot of the cards and it seemed like the information was copied from the outlines instead of created for the flashcards specifically.

Helpful course overall, but the format needs to be modernized. (Disclaimer: I have the free version.) The breakdown of the LSAT and the skills and strategies taught in this course have helped me parcel the process of studying into a format that is easy to stick to. But, a lot of the videos in the course have low quality audio ( hollow room sound) with the volume levels sometimes changing randomly. Also, sometimes the instructor will direct you to "turn the page" when the course is completely digital. This makes it seem a bit outdated and unorganized. Some of the videos seem to be much longer than need be ( i.e. over two hours) and I think these could be broken down more. Before I started using this course, I was working through the Khan Academy's LSAT prep course and found it to be more engaging, and outright more fun. I would love to see some elements from that course - like a custom study plan, reward points and the avatar- cross over into this one. However, even though the material on TestMax can be hard to get through, the strategies for logic games, logical reasoning, etc. that are taught are highly effective and have helped me progress more than my work in the Khan Academy's course. So far I am about halfway through this course and will do my best to come back and update this review upon my completion of the course.
