I worked on several projects with Testlio, and my experience was mixed. One functionality testing project started out positively, but over time, weak project management and poor coordination made the experience increasingly frustrating. My experience with a payment testing project was particularly disappointing. I had to request reimbursement multiple times before all of my payments were finally refunded. Having to repeatedly follow up to recover money I had spent as part of the testing process significantly reduced my confidence in how the project was managed. After the reimbursement issue was eventually resolved, I decided to remove myself from the project. Overall, while some aspects of working with Testlio were positive, the project management and reimbursement process left a negative impression.

Worst site ever. I am not sure how this company is surviving even, as they dont have proper strategy or goal what they supposed to do. The team is with in messed up, no proper communication. I dont even know how customer is even trusting this company. I feel the customer should totally avoid this site. And try to get other better platform instead of this.

A total waste of time. They made you spend hours learning and completing all the requirements, only for you to receive a ‘not selected’ at the end. I deleted my account.

After 1 year with them I made around 100$ totally. But very time consuming. They will invite you every few months, on a rush, to some task, where just to start with, it needs a lot of account creating, joining workspaces and maybe after it you are not finally selected. Mostly it's payment tasks (so you have to put your own money in advanced) getting refund may happen smooth or maybe you have to deal with your money stuck and ask around for refund and wait weeks without knowing if they will refund you. Other common task is your ID or Passport (who knows where your data ends...) I don't recommend Testlio.

I have attempted FRTC exam 3 times and everytime it displays as fail as i couldnt find all issues. Already many testers tested the same app and found almost all defects. I dont understand how can some one find defects when everything is already found. I attached the same defects to test cases but not sure how to find new defects and pass the FRTC exams..

Test cases not prepared by the teams. Unclear instructions. Bad communication. Blocked for usage of VPN for a test ( not true, not even DNS). Task not paid.

Useless and buggy tests for new testers, impossible to get even a simple TC without wasting in their time consuming and full-of-bug fake academy. Don't waste your time, I've wasted almost 5 hours and couldn't even pass a simple testing course which is absolutely cringe in contrast to big test platforms such as Utest where I land on my first TC in a week.

Testlio is not worth the time or effort. The platform feels built on cheap labor, offering very low pay compared to the amount of work and precision expected from testers. The interface is clunky and unintuitive, making it difficult to navigate or complete simple actions. Tasks are often confusing and poorly explained, leaving you to figure things out on your own. Overall, the experience is frustrating and unrewarding, there are much better alternatives out there, like uTest, that respect testers’ time and pay them more fairly.
