Cap shows red several times? Was on the understanding that it protected from high temperatures?

The cap does protect it in high temperatures and the temperature indicator is there to ensure that this happens. When the red light goes off - All that needs to be done is to return the VIVI Cap to room temperature and it regenerates itself to once again protect your pen. No batteries, no charging.
