Poor quality and no ownership. Forced to remain in this home that was poorly built due to the terrible economy we’re faced with. I had a door come off completely, roof not fully patched, and poor paint job throughout the home.

I wish we had researched the builders in the area. We absolutely love the area but are not impressed at all with Taylor Morrison. The home warranty is all but non-existent. I have had to pay out of pocket for a new garage door opener (they put a 1/2hp motor on a heavy all wooden door). Questions about the HVAC- submitted warranty ticket 7 weeks ago- crickets. Sprinkler system brand new house leaking and they don’t warranty the installation. Had to replace the dishwasher because it was so loud and the cheapest model they could find. I would strongly advise anyone considering them to do their homework and consider a builder with even marginally better reviews- completely my fault for not looking them up.

Hello, all I have volunteered to help the Florida and U.S. Attorney General gather information on Taylor Morrison breaching contract and abusing their warranty's arbitration clause. If you have any data you would like to share please contact me directly. I have already gotten responses from over 400 people!

If you're considering buying from this company, think again--and RUN! If you're currently under contract with them, break it and RUN! They do not stand behind their work. Instead, they argue, refuse to honor their commitments, and blatantly disregard the obligations outlined in their contracts. They treat your home as if it were low-priority housing, even if you've spent upwards of $1 million on it. Their so-called "home warranty" is nothing more than a tool to dismiss your repair requests, leaving issues unresolved. Their "standards" are practically nonexistent. They hire inexperienced workers who lack the necessary skills and knowledge. They make promises to fix issues but later deny ever agreeing to anything. The bottom line: they will ignore you, betting that you'll eventually give up out of frustration. Take it from the many warnings shared here--proceed at your own risk.

I went to purchase an attached home from Aurora Highlands Colorado. My mom has stage 2 breast cancer going through Chemo so I went looking for one level homes where my mom can feel at home again with just one floor (as she cannot do stairs anymore). I was told to start a build they needed 30K (my life savings but I’d do anything for my mom) so I put the money down. Next thing I know someone else put 30k down on the same house I did but supposedly faster than me. So the lady selling homes within said her boss will not open new lots so I had to take an already started, already picked out appliances and the whole show…. They said you are already passed your limit to get your money back so for my mother we decided okay that’s fine we don’t want to lose our money. 3 days before singing Taylor Morrison calls me to say.. we are cancelling your contract and keeping your money because you didn’t sell your townhouse. Now as the process goes from the moment I put my money down… finance would not call me back/email me for questions I had.. I got “out of the office”, went every week to look at house we were so excited about. Basement had huge puddle of water from a busted pipe coming from master bathroom toilet.. rotting the floor entirely where the toilet was at and the entire basement ceiling… I turned that in and it was said they would fix it but day of walk through the floor was never fixed and had to be replaced entirely.. Taylor Morrison would hug my mom as we came to visit the home and be so kind yet the straight up took my money that I needed for my mom… said they would give us a year to use our 30k but now nobody will even view my townhouse since this all began.. may have been coincidence, but just seems to weird as I was taken for my money..

Such a huge scam! Building million dollar homes and such low quality work and materials. So highly disappointed to be in such a reputable community under such a horrible builder. Our neighborhood is literally filing a lawsuit against them for such bad work.

Man they do not know how to build a home.
