The dress is wonderful - it is a perfect fit!

One dress arrived looking and fitting great—like the photo. Happy customer. BUT, The other didn’t look much like the photo at all, and while the fit was fine, the combination of the fit and the print was unflattering to say the least (the model clearly sized up so key pattern elements wouldn’t hit at key feminine features, if you know what I mean). With only one photo of the dress on the site and no indication of the model’s measurements or dress size shown, I made an under-informed, regrettable purchase. When I initiated a return with Tawoy, I was told a return/refund would *not* be authorized if the dress wasn’t damaged. So now I’m out the cost of the dress. After pushing back, the company offered a 30% refund, but nonetheless, buyers beware.

I was very hesitant about ordering because I am not familiar with this company. However, I decided to take a chance and I am absolutely thrilled with this dress. It looks exactly like the picture. I was so unsure of what the quality and fit would be like… But this dress is absolutely lovely. For reference I am curvy with a butt and thighs, 5 foot three, and weigh about 140-145 pounds. I ordered a small and it fits perfectly. The fabric is slightly thin, but not in a very bad way as I think this will be very nice and airy for the summer. I ordered the apricot color which is more like a soft cream. I’m fair-skinned and do not feel like this washes me out at all, it’s really a great color without being a gross beige. I will very comfortably be able to wear Spanx underneath although the fabric lays so wonderfully that it doesn’t necessarily need it (I just prefer an extra layer under any dresses I wear). The ruching is extremely flattering. It did arrive very wrinkled, but the instructions say that a light iron is OK, along with machine washing and drying. I will say that shipping took a very long time… Almost a month. But the company was really great about updating my order and sending me notification emails. I would not hesitate to order again. I am so wary of overseas companies that I have not heard of before but I will definitely be trying them again! I was not paid or offered any sort of discount, this is my absolute 100% honest review.
