I was called and told I would have to upgrade at a cost of over $1,000. It didn't matter that I was a loyal customer for over 15 years. Basically I was told pay the cost or my service would be disconnected. So I got another service at half the monthly fee tattle tale was charging me though I did have to invest in the system at approximately $700. I'm officially in the black and never an issue with the new provider.

The hardware interface is so balky that we've had dozens of false alarms just trying to enter the code to disarm. The police have been summoned on numerous occasions needlessly, and we've been billed for it. Additionally, the call center is poorly trained to report on the cause of the alarm being triggered. From our view the system only works as a visible deterent. Far less than what we thought we were getting.

I was generally pleased with the equipment, with the exception of the speaker in the siren and the battery life. I was extremely disappointed with the customer service. Seemed like calls were answered by rude, immature folks. Very unhappy customer!
