At first, Trava Health seemed like a good choice. Their customer service was responsive, and the pharmacy they used appeared to be top-notch. Unfortunately, things quickly went downhill. The first issue was when they sent me a vial of tirzepatide that was one dose short. When I contacted them, they jumped through every hoop imaginable to explain why it wasn't short. I made it clear that I wasn't asking for a refund or a free vial—I simply wanted the one missing dose so I wouldn't have to miss a week of treatment. After that, I got nothing but silence. Later, I asked if they could send replacement syringes because the ones they provide are extremely flimsy. Two or three of them would bend before I finally found one I could use. Instead of helping, they told me I could just order syringes from Amazon. The final straw came when I increased my dosage. They overcharged me by $20. I even showed them their own pricing chart, which clearly showed what the new dosage should have cost. They admitted there had been a mix-up, but in the end I received neither a refund nor the higher dosage strength that I was charged for. Throughout all of this, they remained polite, but polite customer service means very little when the actual service continues to get worse. To make matters worse, Trava Health is considerably more expensive than many other GLP-1 providers. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. If you're considering signing up, I would encourage you to look elsewhere. If you're already a customer, you may want to consider finding a provider that treats its customers fairly and offers more competitive pricing. As for me and my wife, we will not be doing business with Trava Health again. I have screen hots of all transactions to verify my claims

I have been an existing customer, and my recent experience has been extremely disappointing. My prescription took far too long to process and ship, and when it finally arrived, the medication was piping hot even though it is supposed to be kept cold during transit. That raises serious concerns about the integrity of a temperature-sensitive medication. What makes this even more frustrating is that the company is actively advertising sales and bringing in new customers, while existing customers are left waiting for delayed processing, poor communication, and inadequate shipping practices. It feels like the focus has shifted to acquiring new business instead of taking care of the customers who have already trusted them with their healthcare. For a company handling prescription medications, timely processing, proper cold-chain shipping, and clear communication should be the minimum standard. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend them.

Very disappointed with the level of “clinical support” provided by PERRI L., Clinical Administrator. I reached out explaining that I’m on 12.5mg tirzepatide, still constantly hungry, working out consistently, and not losing weight. Instead of receiving actual medical guidance or thoughtful feedback, I basically got told to either contact support or pay for a higher dose. The response completely ignored my concerns and felt like a scripted customer service message rather than real patient care. No discussion about why the medication may not be working, no effort to review my situation, no helpful insight — just “go higher.” For a company charging people for medical weight loss treatment, this level of support is honestly unacceptable. Patients deserve individualized care, not generic responses that sound more focused on upselling higher doses than actually helping.

I started the intake process with Trava. Their assessment wasn't clear, but when I asked questions they didn't respond. After two days waiting for a reply, I decided to move on and go with another provider! Another issue with Trava was that their low beginner pricing wasn't available once I started the intake. I contacted them and explained the assessment they sent me to in an email link was assuming I had taken GLP-1s before wasn't explained to them that the intake they sent me to, via an email link from Trava assumed I wasn't new to GLP-1s. I contacted them and explained I had never taken GLP-1s before and I wasn't being quoted beginner pricing. The pricing quoted was more than $40 higher than their beginner pricing. When I contacted Trava, they told me to just indicate that on the assessment and the doctor would take that into consideration. There was no place to indicate that on the assessment, and that wouldn't fix the issue with pricing! I sent another email explaining that, and they just never responded to me. Two days later, they still hadn't responded. So I decided to go with another GLP-1 provider! I went through the intake process with the other provider, was approved, and my medicine was on its way before Trava every responded to me. Not only that, when Trava did respond to me, they didn't contact me to answer my questions. They contacted me to tell me to finish my assessment! These are really bad business practices and very poor customer service!

This is my second review for this company. My final experience was so different from earlier, I thought it was important to share it. I had looked in to the company when they were newer and was uncomfortable with the lack of customer support so I looked elsewhere for semaglutide. When I switched to tirzepatide and couldn't afford that company, I looked in to Trava and decided to give them a try. All was well at first. Prices were reasonable, the online doctor support was good, and shipping was fast. Then I raised the dose and got a rash at the injection site. I contacted the medical line and got some advice. Although, one response was from a doctor who had been with my first provider who does not take the time to actually read questions through. I had to ask again, at which point a different doctor gave me some great suggestions. Found more information on various Facebook pages that this was common, only a skin reaction so not dangerous, and manageable. Contacted medical again to see if they offered Tirzepatide with anything added other than B12 or with a different form of B12, so I could see if I had less of a reaction. Medical referred me to customer service which seemed odd considering this was a medical concern. Someone in customer service got back to me and told me they only offered tirzepatide with the one form of B12 and nothing else, apologized and gave me a 20% refund. I said it seemed like a doctor should make the determination about this and not a customer service rep. No response. I just tried to log in to see if there were any medical responses I had missed. My account was apparently deleted by Trava as I was unable to login at all. This all seems very weird to me, considering how common the injection site rash is. I have had to rely on Facebook discussions to learn how to handle it. I am pretty sure I asked about the rash before the last shipment was approved by medical and sent to me. I paid just under $500 for it. At least they gave me a 20% refund. I guess they are afraid of lawsuits. But I would have stuck with them. Now I have to find another online provider. I'm sure there will be a response here from Trava saying I'm difficult or, well, they did give me a 20% refund which they don't normally do so why am I upset. Well, this is why. And I wouldn't really say I'm upset. In fact I'd say this gives me the opportunity to go with a better run company. One that actually wants to help their patients with their weight loss journey and thinks asking for help is a good thing. I guess I'm just a trouble maker! 12/15/25 UPDATE: I just read Trava's response to my review. They claim I told them I did not want to continue with Trava, and that is 100% not true. I looked back over the email conversation with the customer service rep and I did not say anything that could even be misunderstood as that. What I do see is the rep saying they were sorry they could not help me and me saying it seemed like a doctor should be making that determination and not customer service. I stand completely by what I said in my original review.

Hi Joanne, Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed review. I’m truly sorry that your experience took a turn and didn’t reflect the level of support we aim to provide. I also want to clear up one point that may have caused some confusion: we only closed your account because you let us know you did not wish to move forward with Trava. We never restrict access for reaching out with concerns—patients contacting us for help is something we welcome. I’m sorry the timing made it feel otherwise. Regarding the rash you experienced, both of our partner pharmacies compound tirzepatide the same way, with the same form of B12, so there unfortunately wasn’t an alternative version we could safely switch you to. Customer support was simply relaying what our medical team determined, but I understand how that could feel disconnected, and I’m sorry for that. We also issued a 20% courtesy refund—even though all medication orders are final sale per the terms agreed to at checkout—because we wanted to make sure you didn’t feel left without support. We truly appreciate you giving us a chance and sharing both your positive and negative experiences. While I’m saddened to hear this is where things ended, I really do wish you the very best in your continued health journey. If you ever decide you’d like us to help again, we’d be glad to.

Terrible company who has interest in your well-being. Just taking advantage of people who are looking for help. I provided ALL of my medical history. Including pancreatic issues which have apparently not been properly studied with these GLP-1s. After I researched it now it's because these medications have risk of causing pancreatitis which can result in life long complications, even after discontinuing meds or DEATH. ARE YOU FREAKING SERIOUS!? Who the heck would prescribe this knowing that. This is a lawsuit ready to happen. In no way is this ok. Also, they like to delete reviews. What a joke this company and their "doctors" are that never even speak to the patients.

Hi Alyssa, We’re very sorry to hear about your experience, and we take concerns about safety extremely seriously. Our licensed providers review every patient’s medical history prior to prescribing, and they only move forward if, in their clinical judgment, the treatment is appropriate. While a history of pancreatitis is a contraindication, other pancreatic conditions are not automatically disqualifying. That said, we fully understand why this can feel alarming, and your safety is always the priority. GLP-1 medications, including tirzepatide, carry well-known FDA-listed risks that are clearly outlined in the consent forms each patient reviews before treatment is prescribed. These risks are not unique to our service—they apply to all GLP-1 medications regardless of where they are obtained. We never want a patient to feel uninformed, which is why we encourage anyone with complex medical histories to consult a provider who has full access to their complete medical records. To clarify another concern: we do not delete reviews. We take all feedback seriously, whether positive or negative, and use it to improve the experience for our patients. If you’d like us to review your case further or connect you directly with support, please reach out to us at [email protected] so we can assist you promptly.

I believe this company is a true scam & just wanted information - all of a sudden they charged my card $180.00 & said my prescription is at the pharmacy, so they can't reimburse me. I tried to get a hold of someone on line to help & was completely ignored. I guess I'm out $180.00 & no one cares. BE VERY AWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!!

Hi Vicki, We’re sorry to hear about your frustration! Based on your shipping notifications, it looks like your order is actually arriving today. Once a prescription has been filled and shipped, we’re unable to cancel or refund it. We completely understand how that can be disappointing. If you have any questions or need help with your order, please reach out to our team at [email protected] — we’re always happy to assist and make sure you’re taken care of.
