TA Traveling… Mill City needs to not get left behind
As we entered the building from the Professional Driver’s fuel/parking I was impressed with the size and openness of the place. Clean floors, laundry room available and clean, some construction noted throughout the long space and hall. Cashier was pleasant and efficient as she charged for our showers. Shower was a highlight and a miss for me. These floors were rough, no matter how much cleaning done on them, they still looked dirty. Flip flops a must and this should be a place the owner spends some money to repair. But that water pressure was fabulous and the towels were softer than the typical TA rough ones. No restaurant and the Taco Bell was temporarily down. So only options are overpriced cold meals that you can microwave. They are good just so darn much for what they are. Cold sandwiches, burritos, hot dogs, and pizza was available from the store. The staff made up for the lacking amenities. Pleasant, happy, and made polite conversation with us. I just feel like this place and its employees could shine if some cosmetic repairs and more food options were done.
