BEWARE
BEWARE. This is turning out to be a ponzi scheme! Greg advanced loans with investor money and has now defaulted on his repayment of the investor loans and has gone radio silent. 100% do NOT touch this company. I will update this review in 4 weeks or less to confirm he is still absent and in default. He also operates Car Shair as the CEO.

Really unprofessional
Really unprofessional. When I stated I was going to pass on their finance, Taylor became rude and unprofessional. Putting things in caps really comes across as rude in text and honestly the reason a service is refused is not something that has to be disclosed. If he cannot accept that someone is just not interested, then maybe a role in customer service is not for him.

Hi Mark, thanks for bringing this to our attention. Our goal is to advocate for consumers by finding them the best deal possible on their mortgage, whether that's with us or with someone else, so we apologize for any poor treatment you may have received while using our platform. Our only intention is to help, but we've clearly overstepped if you at all felt uncomfortable throughout the process. Please don't hesitate to reach out if we can assist you in any way. Last but not least, we commend you for shopping around and wish you the best of luck with your home financing.

I would try somewhere else
Worthless. Contacted these guys to see if I was in a spot to move forward or not To get pre-qualified. Contacted by text message and worked with Brenda Gloriani. At first was getting all the info I needed. Was instructed on how to use their app to upload the documents they needed. I asked as many questions as I could, most of which were answered. But then I started hearing less from her. Was asking when will I hear something and was just being told ‘soon’. Was then told there was some kind of technical issue, after I sent all my info. That went on for like a week. Was told they were basically having to do it manually, whatever that meant. That went on for weeks. The whole thing was sloppy, especially for a newish company using an app. Not reassuring at all..I thought everything would be smooth, but maybe it was just my agent. I went online to their website to look at their staff page to see if Brenda was even a real person or just a text response bot, and it seemed like she was real, which made it even more disappointing because of the communication. I felt like an annoyance more than a client. In all, I ended up asking something like ‘how much longer?’ about a dozen times. After finally getting a snippy response text saying “Today!”, they quietly sent me an email and said nothing to me about it being sent. I looked it over after stumbling on it the next day and then contacted again about it and I never heard anything back. That was months ago. I decided to just let them go and try with someone else in a few more months. Nothing at all about them told me I should keep trying. Not like there aren’t 100 different companies doing the same thing. In total, I spent around a month of back and forth with SYOM, and only got a headache out of it. If you decide to try with this group, get them on the phone or meet in person if possible. At the very least, stay away from Brenda if you actually want to get something accomplished.

We apologize for and regret your bad experience with our company. This isn't a representation of how we conduct business, so the fact that you felt like you weren't being treated like a priority is a reality call to us that we still have cracks in our process. For what it's worth, we've taken your feedback to heart and have since made significant changes to both our team and protocol to ensure this doesn't happen again. To help make things right with you, our new CEO, Ben Vigil, would like to reach out to you personally. Until then, we wish you luck with your homeownership goals, and thank you for your honest feedback.

ACTIVE DUTY AND VETERANS BEWARE
ACTIVE DUTY AND VETERANS BEWARE: I have had the most horrible experience with this company. I first dealt with Jordan from the Costa Mesa Branch she dropped the ball NO CONTACT-KEPT STRINGING US ALONG. Than I called to complain and I was going to walk away at this time but spoke to a Garrick (with same branch) who claims to be the owner of the company and he ASSURED me that we would close on a date that came and went. He stated that UWM (united wholesale company) was the problem. Contacted this company and came to find out that it was them that had dropped the ball again. He mad promises after promises and since November of 2019 my husband and I have been strung along. My family and I have wasted 3 months giving this company a chance to come thru. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE MILITARY STAY AWAY. I am contacting the better business bureau as well. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME they will even tell you not to pay your mortgage. Can you believe that. I have learned a lesson from this, trust your gut if it seems to good to be true....RUN.

BEWARE ALL NURSES AND THOSE HEALTHCARE…
BEWARE ALL NURSES AND THOSE HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS. If I could rate this company a 0 out of 5 I would. For starters, they rope you into fast pre-approval rating without doing due diligence and always available to communicate. Once you have established a contract in hand, then the communication is completely lacking (no return emails, texts, or callbacks). Furthermore, at that point they seem to START the validation process for you loan, even though they have assured you that you are approved and qualified. They continually assure you that your funds are secured, until you need to close and then you are told that they are not ready, further funds are needed. This company cost me my homestead, and further expenditures unforeseen. They are not what they claim to be.
As of date (2/11/20), there has been zero communication extended forth to me. If indeed the information provided to you was incomplete or inaccurate as you say, the burden belies on YOU to communicate with me what was deficient. THAT NEVER OCCURRED WHILE YOU PRE APPROVED for 10 MONTHS my application before a contract was in hand. DUE DILIGENCE was NOT my responsibility- it was YOURS.

We regret the challenges you had securing your loan. We should have done more to communicate with you as your application was being reviewed by the lender. The reality is that some of the information you disclosed at the beginning of your application was inaccurate, which affected your eligibility for certain benefits. Nevertheless, we should have done more to communicate with you and manage your expectations. We have reached out to you in the hopes of making this right.
There is no question that the information you provided was inaccurate. However, we should have informed you that you would not qualify for specific benefits if the information provided was inaccurate, instead of assuring you that you would qualify based solely on what you told us. We were still able to fund your loan, and are willing to make it up to you if you would only answer our calls. We have contacted you at the phone number last provided and left a voicemail. Please let us know if that number is no longer in use or if your contact information has changed.
