I only used this software because it was recommended by Quickbooks online to sync transactions from Stripe. While annoying to set up, syncing generally worked. Their customer service and billing has been a nightmare. They nearly doubled the cost with zero notice to me, and argued that they have notice. When they realized they had not given notice they finally gave me a credit but it was numerous emails back and forth to get to that point. I stopped using Stripe and no longer needed this service, however it had renewed for another year without any notice that it was going to renew or any notice that it did renew, I only knew it had when I was the charge on my credit card statement. It had only been a couple of weeks since the renewal and I hadn’t used it in months but they refused to pro rate a refund due to their no-refund policy. Absolutely horrible terrible service during and at cancellation after using their service for years. I honestly wish I’d had a bookkeeper manually add in these transactions, it would have been cheaper and I would have received better service. I am so glad to no longer be a customer of theirs and highly recommend you avoid this company.

Thank you for sharing your feedback, Mollie. We are sorry that your recent billing experience has left you with this impression after several years with Synder. When your subscription renewed to the Essential plan in 2025, you requested a downgrade to Basic along with a refund, and our Billing Team approved that refund as a one-time exception to our standard policy. For the latest renewal, we did not receive a cancellation request before the subscription renewed in July, and the refund request was submitted on August 17, almost a month later. After an additional review of the case and the previous exception, we were unable to approve another refund in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. Your subscription has now been canceled, there will be no further charges, and our team is working with you directly to complete the account disconnection. We appreciate your feedback and hope we can bring the remaining process to a satisfactory close.

It did not work for us at all
It did not work for us at all, transactions all over the place. Not syncing correctly. The software also opens so many clearing accounts in your bank feed. Crazy to keep up with what it’s doing. Hardly automated as I had to log in daily if not twice a day to make sure it was doing what it was supposed to. They are refusing refund even though we used it less than 14 days. We couldn’t use the trial as it only allowed one integration. And the one worked ok and then when we signed up and integrated the rest it ruined everything. But they still refuse to refund. Pointless software

Thank you for sharing your experience, and we are sorry things did not work as expected for your business. In most cases, once the initial setup is configured correctly, users are able to automate the process successfully and use the app with minimal manual involvement. From what we can see, in your case there may have been setup issues that affected the syncing behavior and account mapping. We would also like to clarify that the trial period is not limited to one integration and includes live chat support specifically to help users test and configure all needed platforms before committing to a paid subscription, especially due to our non-refundable policy. That said, we truly want to help improve your experience, so our team would appreciate the chance to continue working with you over email and hopefully change your impression of the app.

Over priced, misleading TikTok Integration & No Real Resolution
Synder advertises that their TikTok integration works, but in reality it simply doesn’t. Our TikTok Shop account is based in the U.S. (North America), and the entire reason we considered using Synder was to properly reconcile TikTok sales in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Platforms like Shopify and PayPal already have decent integrations with QBO, so the main value proposition for an app like Synder is supposed to be handling marketplaces like TikTok correctly.
Unfortunately, the TikTok integration simply does not work.
I spent days and weeks gathering data and evidence to prove to their team that the integration was broken. Instead of acknowledging the issue early on, it took a long time for them to finally admit that the TikTok API is “complex.” The whole process dragged out for over 10 months with weekly meetings, and ultimately they gave up and suggested an alternative: statement-level integration.
But this “solution” completely defeats the purpose of using Synder.
Statement-level integration only captures TikTok payout totals and creates a single entry to match the statement amount. That’s something you could practically do yourself. More importantly, this approach means:
No inventory tracking
No proper order-level reporting
No meaningful reconciliation inside QBO
It’s far too high-level to be useful for a business that needs accurate accounting and reporting. The entire point of using a tool like Synder is to avoid this kind of manual workaround.
Another major issue is how much time I had to invest just to prove their own integration didn’t work. Their customer service team seemed to treat it as normal that customers spend days and weeks identifying bugs in their product. They also completely undermined the fact that I spent 10+ months working with them on this issue, only to end up with a band-aid solution.
The representative handling my case was Mikheil Khetsadze, and this situation dragged on with repeated meetings and troubleshooting sessions. I eventually escalated the issue and had a call with his manager, Vitalina Kirdun, hoping for a real resolution. Unfortunately, it was clear she wasn’t familiar with the details of the issue and ended up suggesting the same TikTok integration that had already been proven not to work.
Later, their lead, Jon Knight, also became involved in the discussion. Instead of helping resolve the issue, the situation became even more frustrating. Despite the fact that I had already provided extensive documentation—including more than 30 example orders where Synder was pulling incorrect numbers that did not match the actual payout statements—he continued to insist that their TikTok integration works as intended. After spending nearly a year providing data and repeatedly demonstrating the discrepancies, being told that the integration works felt dismissive and extremely frustrating.
To be fair, the support staff are polite and good at listening to problems. But listening isn’t the same as solving them. The experience often felt like they were simply absorbing complaints rather than fixing the product.
Since the TikTok integration didn’t work, I asked whether they could reduce the subscription cost, because paying $275 per month for software that only captures statement-level payouts doesn’t make sense. They refused, saying they were “working on improvements.”
It’s now been over a year, and the integration still doesn’t work as advertised.
At this point, continuing to market TikTok integration as a working feature feels misleading. If TikTok Shop accounting and reconciliation in QBO is important to your business, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback! We hear you - the statement-level integration is not the standard you need, and we acknowledge that the experience during this process did not meet your expectations. That level of commitment from a customer deserves a fast resolution, and we are actively working on making our TikTok integration more reliable and improving how the data is synchronized in the books. We are currently finalizing a significant update - our TikTok V2 integration - designed specifically to address the granular reporting and inventory issues you raised. While we understand that does not fix your current frustration, we are committed to making this right. Our team remains in active conversation with you regarding this case, and we sincerely hope that with these improvements we will be able to fully resolve the situation and deliver the experience you originally came to us for. Should we reach that point, we would genuinely welcome the opportunity for you to revisit your review.

Never onboarded after six months
It took ConnectBooks three weeks to onboard us. The difference in support was a chasm. ConnectBooks have the ability to map products between QuickBooks and your marketplaces with a simple excel sheet - like every other application. Synder do not have this facility, we worked with their technical team but they were slow and provided incomplete mapping and support - more so they did not deliver what was promised, only 10% (enough to fill a screen). ConnectBooks focus on payouts which is all that is needed - no more gazillion new customers interfering with our wholesale business.
We asked for a refund of some of the fees we paid so that we could pay the data for our ConnectBooks implementation but they refused. Initiated a credit card dispute.
I am disappointed with this experience, I see many good reviews here but recently some very negative ones. I believe this is an account management issue with a specific account manager that needs to get fixed and made right by Synder management.

Thank you for your feedback. We have thoroughly reviewed your interactions with our team and confirmed that your dedicated Customer Success Manager has been actively assisting with numerous adjustments tailored to your workflow. Regarding product mapping, which was essentially the final step needed to complete your setup, we do offer the capability to upload and efficiently map large volumes of products via Excel. Currently, this can only be done from the support end, but we are planning to introduce this feature for end-users soon. However, our progress was delayed as we were waiting for the response from your side over several months, which affected the completion of your onboarding. We are still ready to assist with accurately transferring your data into the books and would welcome the opportunity to have you as a valued customer moving forward.

These guys are SCAMMERS
These guys are SCAMMERS, they kept charging us after a free trial, and they cant refund us because "clover" charged us. I go to clover and they show charges directly from synder. I go back to them and they tell me that they wont refund us. Scammers stay away
Response from synder.comMay 13, 2024
We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback and want to clarify the situation. Our trial period does not require any credit card details and is absolutely free. But users of Clover as their payment method for their Synder subscription will continue to be charged until the subscription is canceled on the Clover side, as happened in your case. We are currently working on improving the visibility of this payment method within Synder so that users can easily see whether their subscription is active or not. We also want to add that we are in communication with you to ensure that your subscription is canceled and to address any potential concerns. We appreciate your understanding and hope for an updated review from you once the situation is fully resolved. We value our clients and strive to conduct our business fairly.

Really disapointed with Customer Service.
Very inflexible and inpersonal when requesting cancellation or changes. Be careful with their "try before you buy" option and don't expect anything but a Robotic response about Terms and Conditions if you are hours late on cancellation. Trapped into a $500 paypment due to 4 hours being late to cancel. No flexibility, not understanding, just robots.
Response from synder.comApr 22, 2024
Thank you for sharing your thoughts! We offer a 2-week trial period with no credit card required, so users can fully explore our services before committing to a paid subscription. Our pricing is flexible, with monthly or yearly options available, and we send reminders before renewals for transparency. Our subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled within the app, which aligns with common subscription-based app policies and ensures uninterrupted service, stable synchronization, and fair regulations for all users. We noticed you were on a yearly plan, and while your subscription is now canceled, we are here to support you for the remainder of the prepaid period without any future auto-renewals.

Don't forget to cancel, they do not care if you make a mistake. Only that they get the money.
I didn't realize I still had this software after the trial date, I thought I had cancelled it. I'm an extremely tiny business who can't afford the software to begin with, but made the mistake of not following through to ensure it was cancelled. Just got billed again, and explained my situation to customer service in hopes for some type of refund. "Machine accuracy. Human approach" is not accurate. I already understand they say no refunds, that it was my responsibility and all of that. With the current economy taking $497.76 from me was like a dagger. If I didn't need the money I would have lived with my mistake instead of reaching out to Snyder. So thank you very much for the human approach.
Response from synder.comMar 19, 2024

We confirm the cancellation of your subscription, and please rest assured that you can continue to use the service until the end of your paid period.
