I hope I can give zero star for Synchrony although I know they don't even care what we said. But as Trustpilot is a consumer platform, I would like to leave a review for other people who wanna apply their card. They charged late fee for no reason. If you would like to dispute it, their online agent couldn't do anything and tell you to send them a mail to explain your situation. Oh my god, it is AI now, who is running business in such old fashion way? Only one reason, they can keep you wait and you might never get a response from them because it was paper mail. Such stupid business way. There are so many banks out there. Synchrony is going out of business very soon for sure.

I honestly have no idea why Amazon uses Synchrony. All I want to do is pay off my regular/revolving balance, and then I usually have 1 promo balance of 0% for 6 months, so a 1/6th payment of the original promo balance. However, you are required to call in and speak with someone in India, who will then need to escalate to someone else in India to properly allocate your payment to avoid paying interest. This is a very simple task with all other credit card providers. But with Synchrony, this requires a 30 minute call every month and they still don't seem to actually understand what you want.

I have been a Synchrony Bank credit card customer for several years. Last week, Synchrony closed my accounts, stating that my account activity indicated a possible intent not to pay. I have never missed or been late with a payment. All of my payments were consistently made through automatic payment (Autopay). I also maintain a credit score above 750 and have a strong payment history. In addition, Synchrony forfeited more than $100 in accumulated cashback rewards associated with my accounts and refused to reimburse me for those rewards.

FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD. Never ever go to Synchrony for help. You wont get it. They infected all the credit cards, Lowes the worst/ Care credit another . Synchrony master card. They should be held accountable.

I opened a secured card with them in July, with my first bill due August 13. I payed the account off in full on July 24, yet they reported that I missed my payment, and seem to have a problem fixing THEIR screw-up. For over twenty years, I went without using credit, and it was recommended that I build some credit, and that this was the best way to do so. WRONG!!! Synchrony is the most incompetent company ever. I went, in less than a month, from having no credit, to bad credit. I am filing a report against them through my lawyer in hopes that they will pay for damages. If you have zero or bad credit, this company will destroy any hopes of improvement. I liked it better when I had no credit. At least that was respectable. F You Synchrony....

I made a mistake writing my bank account # in, received a $30 charge for a rejected payment. As I had just made a payment for $1062.34, I called the credit card company to ask if they could remove the charge from my account. They said unequivocally no! Great way to keep customers, guys! I'll use it every other month for something small, just to keep the account but...

I had an Amazon Store Card through Synchrony for many years. NEVER EVER EVER WAS LATE OR MISSED A PAYMENT. My information was hacked and Synchrony closed my account without my notification, permission or authorization. They refused to reinstate my account. I spent over 2 hours over two days trying to resolve the issue. THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER with a bank card. SYNCHRONY IS THE WORST

It's impossible to get support. Their Virtual Assistant has less brain than Siri(yeah, I know it's a low bar)
