⭐️ 1 star A very difficult experience that has left me with serious concerns about accountability and transparency. This review is based on my own experience and on documentation provided to me. My biggest concern is the way information about my son appears to have been turned into formal “risk” assessments. The assessments contain serious allegations and repeatedly refer to “evidence”. However, the October 2025 assessment itself refers to information coming from a referral, while also recording that staff had not themselves seen further evidence of the alleged concerns. It also expressly states that there was no direct evidence of issues in the community and that no further evidence had been received to substantiate the level of community risk being recorded. Despite those admissions, significant risk ratings remained in place. That raises a very straightforward question: What exactly was the evidence, where did it come from, and was it ever properly verified? I have also raised concerns about disputed information being recorded about my son. Rather than simply accepting paperwork at face value, I believe parents should be entitled to understand what information is being held about their child and what factual basis is being relied upon when decisions are made. The situation has now escalated to the point where my son's attendance at both his alternative education and his separately paid boxing provision has been temporarily paused while matters are investigated. For a 15-year-old who has been working towards his first competitive boxing opportunity, that has real consequences. What I find most difficult to accept is the contrast between the documentation and the way the situation has subsequently been presented. The paperwork itself contains acknowledgements that staff had not observed some of the behaviour being relied upon, yet the associated risk classifications remained. I'm not asking anyone to blindly believe my version. Read the paperwork. Ask questions. Ask what the evidence actually is. Ask where it came from. Ask whether disputed information was verified before it was relied upon. That is what I have been asking. After this experience, transparency and accountability are the two things I would expect any parent to consider very carefully before placing their child's education and wellbeing in the hands of an organisation. Parents deserve more than assurances. They deserve evidence.
