Do not order from this rip-off place. This company has failed to meet a promised deadline. Appears to be quite unorganized and they need to take accountability. No one , nor their third party engine supplier or SWEngines knows much about their orders. There is no way to get in touch with management, and just get the same loop around. The third party, Premium Used Part Solutions owned by Stephen Young, with a a contact number of (503) 877-0566 promised it would be shipped Monday, July 10th. After several excuses, it was July 13th, 2023. Keep in mind, I ordered my engine June 20th. SWEngines promises shipping 7-14 business days, and it finally got shipped several days after the 14th day. Why is that? Lack of process control? Lack of communication? Lack of standard operating procedures? Either way, if you commit to your customers happiness then you need to commit. I finally received the engine, installed it, to find out it knocks and sounds horrible at accelerating RPMs. The third party gave me SWEngines management emails, but have yet to hear back from them. All I want is to be refunded what I paid for the rip-off. Extremely dissatisfied. By the way, all the reviews on their website, and myreputation.com are fake. None are from real people. Do tons of research on the company you order from, because of companies like this that make you lose faith in places nowadays. I question how they are still open. Are they money-laundering? Scamming everyone? Yes. Unfortunately so. Do not order or even think about calling this company. I hope they fix my issue but I doubt that they will.

It is very sad they called the greatest inventory and gave 5 yrs warenty while they don't have the engines but gave false promises and wants to rip off your money, even after you cancelled the order they try to send you an engine they bought from other comany l just adviced you not to deal with them.lt never worth a try to do business with.

A friend recommended SWEngines and I took his word for it -- I rank this among the top three worst decisions I have ever made, and I don't remember the other two. One disaster after another. I completed my order 13 May, 2023. “Thank you for your recent order (Invoice # 417917) from SWEngines.com: 300-77240 2016 Nissan Frontier Engine 4.0L (VIN A, 4th digit, VQ40DE) We truly value your business” 16 May I received a notification from them the order was being processed and will ship in 7-14 business days. On 31 May, I received an apology for a “slight delay”. Finally shipping confirmation on 5 June. Then I get this on 7 June, “Sent paperwork to the warehouse to get this picked up and they loaded it onto the incorrect truck. Should have it back here in the next few days and then reship out to you, that transit time is 3-4 business days. You should receive this by next week.” Followed by more reassurances on 12 June, “First and foremost, we want to apologize for having to send another email about a delay with your order. Rest assured, YOUR order is our top priority.” Then on 19 June “I see this was returned to the warehouse but not sure why they havent given me the ok to reship yet. Ill reach out to my contact in the morning and get this resolved.” 20 June “I got it figured out, pushing this onto the truck today to head your way. Transit times are between 3-5 business days from my estimation.” FINALLY the engine shows up 9 July. But guess what – the engine oil cooler is busted as it sits on the shipping container. It is a +$400 OEM part that I find for just over $300 including tax and shipping. I figure no problem SWEngines has a warrantee program. Right? – On 11 July, I requested that SWEngines simply pay for the replacement oil cooler part. I sent pictures and the invoice for the part from eBay. Their response on 13 July was, “Please be informed that we will get the engine return. Please get the engine ready for pick up so that return label will be sent to you.” I have to prepare the engine and pay to have it sent back to SWEngines and either request a refund – assuming they acknowledge responsibility – or pay to have a replacement shipped to me. What kind of a warrantee is that?? I cannot count the number of times I called SWEngines trying to get help. I cannot count the number of times I was told the someone would get back to me and never once did.

sent me a bad engine. refuse to honor warranty. got credit card company involved. one of their employees then called me on his personal cell phone to cuss me out and tell me to have the engine out by next week for a truck to pick up. avoid at all cost!! engines are not what they advertise and once they have your money will give you the run around.

These people are thiefs. They have a engine that I returned and have kept my 1845.00 dollars. Is there any lawsuits pending against them that I can join?

the company is a real scam. Engine that supposed to have 22,000 miles on it when delivered and refused looked like it was under water for years. it appeared like a engine with over 100,000 miles. it was shipped without an evidence of true mileage. it was put on an old tire and strapped with a trash bag over it. There is nobody that will help you if you call them. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM
