Not only is the engine useless, they will not provide a return address to send the engine back.

I purchased an engine and three-year parts and labor warranty for my Mazda Miata on October 1, 2016 for $2395. The engine was shipped in a timely manner but once it was installed we discovered that the engine was damaged and sold to us in poor working condition. It made a loud and constant knocking sound. I contacted this company to begin the warranty process and was asked to provide an installation and diagnostic report. At this time I also requested a diagnostic and documentation about the engine that was sold to me. According the warranty representative I spoke to, they do not have this documentation. According to him, they run the engine for 30-60 minutes to test for oil pressure and knocking and then store them for an uncertain amount of time. My mechanic provided the company and myself with multiple documents stating that the engine was damaged and was not suitable for driving. Even with this information received, the company refuses to uphold their warranty stating that we didn't send the correct documentation. Every interaction we have had with the warranty service representative, Alex Black, has been extremely rude and hostile. We requested the contact information for his superiors on several occasions and we have yet to receive this information.

I COMPLETED MY ORDER ON NOV 2, 2016...TODAY IS DECEMBER 6, 2016... I TALKED TO THE MANAGER, JOHN?, ON NOVEMBER 23RD AND TOLD HIM THAT I WANTED TO CANCEL MY ORDER SINCE I AM PAYING $90 A DAY TO RENT A TRUCK...HE FIRST TOLD ME THAT I SIGNED A CONTRACT THAT ALLOWS SW ENGINE TO TAKE A MONTH TO SHIP THE MOTOR...THEN JOHN?TOLD ME THAT MY MOTOR WAS SHIPPING THAT DAY....WELL...I DON'T KNOW IF IT WAS SHIPPED PONY EXPRESS OR WHAT, BUT I AM STILL WAITING FOR IT... I LEFT A MESSAGE YESTERDAY (12/5) WITH ALAN, THE SALES REP, AND HE NEVER RETURNED MY MESSAGE..TODAY (12/6) AFTER WAITING ON HOLD FOR 30 MINUTES I TALKED WITH GIL IN TRACING AND HE TOLD ME HE COULDN'T GIVE ME A TRACKING NUMBER BUT HE WOULD CALL ME BACK...WE WILL SEE... THIS COMPANY TRULY HAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH AND I AM IN THE SERVICE BUSINESS TOO...

Got 2200 miles out of it and no refund or replacement. What a rip off !!!

Bought an engine from this company, it arrived with missing parts and damaged parts I had to have a mechanic fix. Upon finding these things swengines told me they would cover X amount and to go ahead and have the machanic fix the issues. Once completed they gave me the run around for two weeks before refunding me 50$ out of the 421$ I paid. This was not the agreement. I tried explaining to the warranty manager who said he would "look into it". Weeks later I had to call back and they pretty much said they aren't honoring what I was told. I let them know I was going to post a negative review and they were a scam via email and my response was "go ahead we are voiding your warranty" I have that saved in my email incase I have further issues. this company is not legit, it's like 8 people huddled in an office scamming people from across the country. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. You will be sorry.

Rip off they make you wait for something they arent going to ship after you wait over a week you have to cancel cause they havnt shipped it yet. So you have to finsh your project and find another engine. They want to charge you a 25% fee on something they never shipped. What a rip off. I will report them to the better business Bureau. Fraudulent website division and sue they for the money they stoled from me.

They should have the attorney general of OK investigating, BBB already has then as bad. They sold me an engine with supposedly 55k miles, they refused to provide the VIN when I suspected it was well over 150k on engine, engine has leaky head gasket, they consider head gasket not warrantied, meaning one can purchase an engine and then spend another $1600 getting a head job .I tore down the engine and found the engine supposedly 55k already had a timing belt job (usually done at 100K AND THAT BELT WAS VERY WORN), it had damage from poor mechanic work where there were wrench damage INSIDE the engine (supposedly 55k on this?), they REFUSED to honor anything on the warranty, I had a master mechanic shop install the engine and SWEnging stated it was installed wrong. thus void warranty when I reported the head issue, then they tried to refuse warranty first because their website was down and they stated that I didn't click the link soon enough, they refused to pay for damage that was inside engine from a crappy mechanic ruining valve pulley and other ares, the harmonic balancer had several huge cracks and was smashed ,the valve covers look like someone put jb weld on them and they painted over crappy rusty bolt, this is what they considered acceptable, and engine that needed major work. I found they had painted over major rust on the valve cover , it looks like they put jb weld on them and painted them. they had to know there was an oil lead on the head gasket also before they steamed it. Every item submitted that came damaged they made an excuse on why it would not be covered thus. After I purchased this item I did research, other people have the same experience, engines with damage suspicious of much older engine than advertised, many customers warranties refused over bogus reasons. They don't care that my kids and family will need to try to rely on a crap car, they are basically heartless and greedy. My mechanic who is a very well thought of mechanic in our area (people go to his shop rather than dealers), was blown away they refused to honor their warranty and that they even suggested a head gasket that is leaking is a "functional engine" it is an engine that is smoking because oil is leaking on the exhausted, a faulty head gasket leads to a failed head gasket. It is min $1600 to fix. The basic, they don't sell what they advertise, they sell garbage and paint it up to look like a new engine, until you turn the key over. This engine also had a high smell of burned build up in the combustion it took about 500 miles of putting in cleaning fluids to decrease that.
