This is the worst online selling venue ever created. I sell online and the items that don't sell or go out of season I would send to them. All brand new items. They charge $18 to ship to them. Then take months to take pics and post your items after that they tell you some items have been rejected because of stains. Again brand new items that I was selling. No Stains. One pic they took with the supposed stain was bunched up in a ball with another shirt with a red tag attached. I don't have red tags attached to my items. As I read the email it says as of August they SET THEIR OWN PRICES. I am no longer allowed to price my own items!! And they still get their 30% commission! Support never answers emails. Never again!!

Don't Get Involved As A Seller
I have purchased lots of clothes from Swap.com and only had a couple of defective items which they refunded my money. I decided to sell on Swap and have sent a total of 6 boxes of clothes since early July 2017. The first box went pretty good, I got immediate email when it arrived, processed quickly, sold some, and then I sent in two more boxes in early August. Swap's web site stated when I printed those two labels it could take up to 60 days to process due to backlog. I did not receive an email for the two arriving. In the meantime I sent in 3 more in September, with the same disclaimer for the length of processing time, I still have not received any email notifications of any of the last 5 boxes arriving. In my account under My Preferences I can see my list of boxes, showing dates received but the dates have to be wrong, because it's showing the most recent boxes received Oct. 17 and 18th, with one of those priced and listed, and one priced and in queue, but not listed, and it has been in queue for 13 days. However, looking at the items and comparing them to my records these two boxes are actually the 2nd and 3rd boxes I sent, not the last two. The other 3 boxes are showing arrival of 2 on August 29th and 1 on Oct. 3, I can't see the items because they are not processed or in queue either. The dates and my boxes are all screwed up. I sent Swap.com an email to inquire about this but have received no response and no notification of my items from box dated October 17 being listed for sale. I just happened to log in to my account to check on my boxes and saw I had 15 items priced and listed, 13 days ago. They showed one item rejected and I know for a fact that pair of pants was perfect. Because of their stated policy on what they would accept being so strict I looked each piece over carefully and all were washed and dried and folded neatly in the box. Many were new with tags but I don't know how many for sure, I did not make a note of it when I packed it, wish I had. I regret sending anything to them now. I will not buy anything from them again either, I don't know where to turn now since I can't get a reply back from them in an email.

Terrible for sellers!
Not upholding their agreement on processing time for items plus a very poor change in policies, has led to an awful experience selling on Swap. After a big move and closet clean-out, I had lots of men's, kids', and women's items to sell. I carefully compared Swap with ThredUp and a local consignment store, and Swap seemed to be the best option, based on the fact that you could set your own prices and the profit percentage for each sale. In the seller agreement I signed when sending in my box they warned me that their incoming volume was high so "it may take up to 60 days to process." Since I was sending in my box of warm weather clothes at the beginning of June, I was bummed it would take this long, but thought it would be ok since we'd still have the hot months of August and September. Well it didn't get processed for 75 days, so unsurprisingly, not much has sold. Also, when I sent it my items, there was still the option to price your own. That also changed, and resulted in Swap selling a pair of VGUC J. Crew jeans for about $10 with me making $4.50 off the sale. Ridiculous! And for my kids' items I've made around $1-2 an item... not worth it. On top of that, the policies and terms are very difficult to find. I event confronted them about the rejected items policy, because when I originally sent in my box, nothing on the website clearly indicated a deadline to request items back. You can now find this in their FAQs if you hunt; but there is also conflicting information with no deadline to request rejected items... Overall, it's been a terrible experience selling with them and dealing with their customer service who refused to return my rejected items. My advice: find somewhere else to consign!

Do not sell with this company!!!!
Do not sell with this company!!!!! Seriously it's a huge mistake. You will make far more money donating your items and taking the appropriate ray deduction. Swap.com will reject half your items - even clean folded and good condition. What they reject goes in the landfill- so there's that. Then they take a huge commission, and use the rest to pay off the shipping fee. I sent in a large box of about 60 items. So far it's netted me fifty three CENTS. These were mostly name brand items. So let me repeat DONATE, DONT SWAP!!!

DO NOT CONSIGN WITH THEM!!!!!.swap used …
DO NOT CONSIGN WITH THEM!!!!!.swap used to be a great site to consign with but over the past few months have become terrible. I have boxes sent in in early June which have still not been processed. They have cut their commissions for the seller drastically. In many cases from 70% to 30%. Not worth your time.Summer items sent in at the beginning of the season are not even online yet...not much of a chance of selling them now.

Sellers beware
Up until recently, Swap.com was a great site. It has gone completely down hill. They are taking 3 months or longer to process items. Their quality control measures are completely arbitrary. They've rejected items I've sent in that were brand new and still had the tags on it or listed them as "fair condition." It's impossible to get anything more than a canned response. STAY AWAY.

Hassle-FULL returns!
I placed an order with Swap.com for the first time as a result of an online promotion. Something I will be loathed to do again. The items I ordered arrived damaged & reeked of some unidentifiable odor. The return process didn't allow me to say "Items reeked of clothes" so I listed this complaint in the notes which were apparently ignored. Swap.com will not refund my money but issued me store credit despite repeated requests for a full refund. The items were unusable in their condition and I do not trust the company in order to WANT to order from them again. I feel that they do not listen to complaints and normally am not the type to leave a review of products/company but I am finding this whole thing such a hassle (despite their "hassle free" claims!) that I feel compelled to warn others that if you don't like your order, you're basically screwed!

Terrible for sellers
Terrible for sellers, great for buyers.
I've been shopping for my daughters clothes on swap since she was born and since my experience had been so good, I decided to try my hand at selling. It was a TERRIBLE experience.
I followed all of their guidelines. I selected only the pieces in great shape, washed and folded every item, carefully pinned together "sets", and packed up a HUGE box of items. It took 2.5 months to process (so most of the items I sent were out of season by the time they got to them) and over half of the items were rejected. The reason? Worn or stained. Some of the items were brand new and had never been used. And I have very carefully gone through the items and already donated anything I didn't think would meet their criteria.
If you want any more info on WHY your items are rejected, you have to pay to have them shipped back to you (which I did because I'll sell them on ebay or take them to a charity). My theory is that they reject a bunch of items assuming you won't pay to get your own stuff back and they get to sell or do whatever with them without paying any commission. It also seems like most of the stuff they accepted was Circo, etc but the rejections were all Baby Gap, RL, etc. I think they want the higher profit items all for themselves.
I did send them an email with my complaints and the response was not sufficient. Mostly just told me that my brand new items must have been torn.
