Got blepharoplasty procedure performed…
Got blepharoplasty procedure performed here aand ended up with eyelid retraction which the doctor does not take responsibility for. When I complained she brushes off complaints and denies it. Received a 2nd opinion that in fact it is eyelid retraction, and she denies it. Not satisfied with the outcome. Went there to fix one problem and came out with another. When I complained she insists that I was demanding and just does not want to hear your complaints. Shes is close minded and unempathetic.

Hello, Cat! Although we strive to give all of our patients exceptional and quality care, we truly appreciate your feedback and take all claims very seriously. I’d like to address that during every follow up visit and countless text messages, we discussed solutions for your concerns regarding temporary retraction of your lower left lid due to residual swelling and underlying scar tissue from your incision. I mentioned you were still on the course of healing and to please trust the process. Unfortunately some patients tend to heal much slower than others. I also, (on several occasions) explained that your body needs MORE time to heal from the procedure and advised you to simply comply by massaging the area upwards to help minimize and soften the scar tissue while NOT pulling down on your lower lid. (Which you continued to do.) I also advised for you to follow up in the next 6 months as this will give your body the allotted time to heal properly so we can proceed with the next course of action. I then attempted to take pictures during your last follow up appointment to monitor your progress and show you that you were actually healing quite nicely, but you refused and became very aggressive and hostile. Of course, we want all patients to have a positive experience with our practice. While I cannot control any patient’s physical anatomy or the pace of their healing process, you were entirely informed at the time of your consultation of possible risks and benefits of moving forward with this procedure. I wholeheartedly believe that we accomplished and delivered what we said we would do for the selected procedure. And quite frankly, I’m extremely pleased with the improvement. But I want to emphasize again, you are still healing. I have always made myself available to ensure that we achieve optimal results. I am empathetic and caring with all of my patients, but unfortunately, my hands are tide if patients can’t comply or listen to my suggestions and/or medical advise. Our office continues to remain available to you in order to provide the best care and attention possible. I look forward to your follow up and will continue working with you until we achieve your desired results. That is always my goal and promise to each and every patient of mine. We wish you well.
