Breast lift no implants …….
I want to start by saying how incredibly happy I am that I waited to have this procedure done. I’ve wanted a breast lift for 13 years…….literally since having my daughter, who is now 13. Over the years, I’ve had so many consultations with different doctors, and I was constantly told that if I wanted a breast lift, I would also need a breast augmentation…….And I knew that wasn’t what I wanted. I didn’t want implants. I simply wanted my breasts lifted and sitting where I wanted them to sit. 😂 So I waited…and waited…and waited. And I am SO glad I did! I honestly don’t even remember exactly how I found this doctor. I believe I was Googling breast lifts and came across her practice. From the moment I walked in for my consultation, I loved everything about it. The environment, the aesthetic, the atmosphere…….it felt luxurious, welcoming, and comfortable. But what really sold me was the consultation itself. When I explained that I wanted a breast lift and mentioned that other doctors had told me I needed an augmentation, she looked at me and said, “You want implants?” I said, “No!” And when she told me I didn’t need implants and that she could give me the lift I wanted without an augmentation, I could have hugged her. 😂 That was exactly what I had been waiting 13 years to hear. I booked my procedure almost immediately. I believe my consultation was on a Monday or Tuesday, and literally about two weeks later, on a Wednesday, I was having my surgery. That’s how confident I felt in my decision. And I have absolutely no regrets. She listened to me. She valued what I wanted while still giving me her professional recommendations, and she gave me exactly what I asked for. Her staff was just as amazing. She truly has an incredible team behind her, and the entire experience made me feel comfortable and reassured. My recovery was also much easier than I expected. My pain was minimal. My scarring has been minimal. The entire experience, from the procedure to recovery, was honestly so much smoother than I imagined. I had my procedure on a Wednesday, took Thursday and Friday off…and I was back at work Saturday! Even I couldn’t believe it. 😂 As an African American woman, it was also really important to me to find a surgeon who genuinely listened to my concerns, understood what I wanted for my body, and didn’t try to push me toward something I didn’t want. I wanted my breasts lifted……period. And she gave me exactly that. I’ve always been a confident woman, but there were certain things I wanted to wear that I just didn’t feel comfortable wearing before. Now?! BABY! 😂🙌🏾 The difference has been incredible. After wanting this for 13 years, I can truly say that waiting until I found the right doctor was worth it. I would absolutely recommend her. If you’re someone who wants a breast lift but doesn’t necessarily want implants, please know that it’s worth having consultations, asking questions, and finding a surgeon who actually listens to what you want.
