Overall good experience - had a problem initially with the board but they sorted it out.

I have purchased two boards from GSI over the last three years. The first board is a SEAGLASS PROJECT ALBACORE FINLESS SURFBOARD and the second is a Meyerhoffer Slip In PE Shortboard. Both arrived undamaged but i did have a shipping issue with the seaglass board. The issue was resolved to my satisfaction and in a timely manner. I would diffidently purchase from GSI again.

I order a 7S surfboard but it went MIA however GSI was quick to replace a new board. I start work at 10am and don't get back till late in the night, so a delivery service that will deliver between a specific time would have been great.

GSI is user friendly and fast. However, they need to sell fins as well for optimum user experience.

Delivery took a little longer than some sites but all goods arrived as described and no damage

I ordered my board around mid August excited to surf it before summer was over unfortunately was informed fairly quickly that the website had not been updated and the board was actually on back order. Caused me to wait over a month till the board finally shipped. The board finally arrived and was damaged by the shippers in the process but after waiting so long I just wanted to take the board and get it fixed myself. Overall the experience was disappointing...... EXCEPT..... Thanks to Tony Butler the customer service manager who was absolutely amazing through the the whole process. He was completely honest and empathetic of the situation, kept good contact over the whole process assuring me he would get me the right board ASAP. He even offered me a refund after finding out my board had been damaged. I WILL go back to this company just based on Tony he was amazing and deserves some sort of award or raise or something for the effort he puts into his job. Thanks again for everything Tony. Keep killin it!

When I purchased my paddle board GSI in May 2015. I was very please with the process of purchasing the board. For regular shipping, it was shipped the next day from South Carolina and made it to Virginia with in the week. The board was very well protected in there packaging, not a ding on scratch on it. I would definitely use GSI again for my shopping for boards. However the one down fall with shopping online, your not always sure what you are getting. In my case I purchased the 8' Tom Carroll Loose Leaf. I am an experienced paddle boarder and I weigh about 145 I am also 4 feet 9 inch tall, you could say I have very good balance. Therefore I thought the 8' would have been perfect for me. However after trying it out. I realized its nearly impossible for anyone taller than me to stand up on it. I would recommend you over overcompensate for your weight when looking at the weight range and go up at least one size when judging.
