sunpass customer service are incompetent, rude and over all Liars. They pretend they are completing the work and request over the phone. It makes the customer call back over and over and over. it seems and feels like a scam and a joke

I had a rental and attempted to pay by plate. The website keeps giving me an error. I submit a ticket and subsequently call. While the csa was sweet she didn't listen and I kept having to repeat myself. In the end, no one seemed concerned that the website wasn't functioning properly and told me to wait for the bill from the rental company which is what I was trying to avoid.

I have account with Sunpass since 2006. I received one of those “TOLL ENFORCEMENT INVOICE” so I called twice and it is unbelievable how lazy and rude the CS Agents are. Two of them and neither could answer my simple question. I would give them a -1 if I could. What a waste of my precious time.

Online system to pay toll invoices sucks ass!!! Put in the information and doesn't allow you to complete the transaction and has the audacity to say " retry". Did this multiple times. I am mailing mine in from now on at least I know it is job security for someone receiving it on the other end.. Web designers need to tune this thing up. So frustrating to use!!

I'd use zero stars if allowed. I live in rural IOWA and received an email claiming I owed tolls. Um, I've never been to Florida where SunPass is located! Sunpass needs to lock down its service to avoid these hacks and innocent people being ripped off!

Absolute garbage. Ended up costing me MORE money, instead of saving. I quite literally just ripped it off my windshield, smashed it with a hammer, lit it on fire, threw it away and ordered an EPASS. 🤬

got a text message about unpaid toll. they aak to enter phone and SOCIAL SECURITY number. the last time such request i was getting from prince of Nigeria who wanted to pay me $1billion, but needed my ss for tax purposes

Do not use this company - really awful company who have no customer care and made our US break initially very stressful as we were concerned about being fined and how we would pay future toll fees, but trying to save up some coins. I managed to email them eventually after a number of attemps via their website and they just replied about this potential charge telling me to visit a store and get a transponder and suggested I may get invoiced by Sixt, but not clear if that would definitely be the case. I emailed them prior to paying for a transponder I could not use. You can apparently pick up a free Visitor Toll Pass from Orlando Airport from vending machines and returned after your visit with reduced toll charges. An app with this name can be downloaded from app stores by non-US visitors and is on the UK Play store. Arrived at US for recent holiday in Florida and had booked a rental car with Sixt who asked if I wanted to pay up front for a toll transponder. I explained initially I would be using in Orlando and told it would probably be cheaper to pay as you go - not told the tolls do not accept bank cards or notes, so as I had little cash on going through toll from the airport I had no option but to continue through toll without paying toll fee. I decided after that I would visit a Wallgreens to pick up a Sunpass transponder as their website stated I could register online with the rental vehicle details, however non-US citizens cannot download the Sunpass app and there are no options to enter contact details for other phone numbers etc. Also it would not allow me to register the transponder number online. I eventually managed to contact Sunpass using my hotel phone as my UK mobile did not allow international calls and were told via the automated message by using my hotel phone number that another device was already registered and asked if I wanted to register a new device. Eventually spoke to staff member who took my vehicle details and transponder number and told me the vehicle had already been registered and I could not register my new transponder with them and they could not help me. Told me to speak to Sixt who were equally useless. I will now have to wait to seen if there is a $100 fine or if I just get invoiced for this journey. I do not understand why the toll system does not allow card payments or why they do not have a better system to register rentals and foreign visitors to the US. In the UK you can pay the toll fee in Dartford, Kent a number of ways either by registering an account, pay as a one fee or have a transponder in some cases - in any case you have up to midnight the following day make a payment.
