I ordered microspikes to use on a hike in the white Mountains. tried on one at home over my (clean) hiking boots but they didn't fit so I left them at home in the original bag, box, instructions etc. Weather was above freezing and didn't need them anyway. Returned them on 10/8 and inquired about them on 10/18 and was told they had trouble locating them. Sent them the tracking number and received an email on 10/20 stating they have limited staff (until 10/18??) and it would take them until 10/24. Fine. On 10/25 I was told they couldn't refund me BC they had been used...had some sort of salt residue (???). I've never had this issue in 45 years of enjoying the great outdoors with a large variety of outfitters.

Customer service is horrible. Ordered 2 camp chairs and wanted to return and purchase different chairs (more expensive). I told them I had only opened them and realize they were the shorter version of the chair and wanted to exchange them for regular height. I had all original packaging, tags, etc. It took 2 weeks for Return Dept to say they can't accept the return. Why did it take 2 weeks? And why can't items in new condition with original packaging be returned? Never shopping here again.

Terrible company. I specifically called before placing an order to ask if my other items would ship even if one item was on backorder and was told yes they would ship same or next day. 3 days later I received an email saying they were holding my items and they did not have an estimated date when it would ship or they would receive the backordered item. Cancelled immediately and will never order from this company again. Very poor customer service.

Bought two Soltice Sumo Float Pool Mattresses (again) this year. Love the floats, when they don't deflate. The floats inflate in three sections: pillow, body area, and circumference of the float. Both floats deflate at the circumference section. Sounds like a defect to me! Vanessa in customer service is nice, but requests I send back floats (after i already sent pics) to see if they can be repaired. Will take 5-7 weeks!!!! Summer will be over. Then I'm asked if i still have manufacturer's boxes, which I don't. I've now wasted 40 more minutes of my life, on hold mostly in between questions. Then I'm told that because I don't have the boxes, they may not even take the item back to check it. She has to ask the warehouse. So, I have a better idea. You won't get another order for anything from me or any of my family or friends.

Purchased a product that was never delivered and the company refused to give me a refund. Poor customer service

Brought a pair of trekking poles at SunnySports, I received two left ones and no right pole, and the poles are full of scratches. I uploaded the photo and shipped the item back. They refused to return it. I'm really mad and told all my friends not buy anything from them.

I had an upcoming bike packing trip and did not have a small one person tent. I ordered the Kelty late start 1, and paid an additional $20 for two day shipping. That was three days prior to the trip. However when I went to track my package it was not coming until 8pm the day of my trip… this is the predicament because I would be in another state by that time. I contacted customer service to see why my 2 day shipping turned into three day shipping, according to the customer service woman it was my fault for not reading the fine print which is not included in the checkout, under the shipping section. I asked what the point was of me paying $20 for two day shipping, that took 3 days. All the while 3-5 day shipping is free (which I’m not so sure about after reading other reviews). I asked if the delivery date could be pushed ahead of time to no avail, and no help or other options were provided. So I instead asked if I could just be reimbursed for the shipping since they did not follow through with their commitment, but again they refused and put the blame back on me. All in all it was a bad experience they offered no help whatsoever, no compensation for a service they offer yet failed to provide, and didn’t even so much as offer an apology.

If I could give a '0' for stars I would. We ordered a tent online, received a notification that our card 'did not go through' and therefore we would not get the products ordered. We checked, nothing wrong with the card and even though the order was cancelled they still charged our card for $500. We called multiple times, had countless emails and incredibly poor customer service from all areas shuttled back between Adorama (whoever they are) and Sunnysports, each denying they could do anything to rectify the situation. I wonder if Sunnysports is even an entity.
