This service is a great idea in Theory
This service is a great idea in theory...but crappy in practice. It's not therapy. Obviously. But billing themselves as a therapy alternative is a lie at best, and lawsuit waiting to happen at worst. If you truly have alcohol issues this isn't gonna help. If you are young and trying to reign in your consumption then you are gonna be paying way too much money to just do what you already know...
Response from Sunnyside - Naltrexone & App to Drink Less or QuitApr 29, 2023
Hi Manda Bear, Thanks for your feedback and concern. We take this very seriously. I've requested more information from you via trustpilot so I can try to address your concerns one on one. If we've positioned ourselves as a therapy alternative anywhere, it would be helpful for me to know. I'm pretty sure we've never done that. We certainly see many of our members use Sunnyside in conjunction with therapy or other forms of care. In our terms of service as well as onboarding experiences, we do our best to make sure our members know that our coaches are just that: coaches. They're here to listen, provide advice, and help members through specific situations. I'd love the opportunity to learn more from you. So if you're open, please respond to the request for more information. Thanks, Ian Sunnyside Co-Founder
