Customer service still hasn’t answered a portion question after a month. They are recommending a lower amount for my highly active dog than what is on the packaging for an average dog of the same weight. Gave me a quote after I provided all the stats about my dog then say you may need to feed 2-3x more which could end up being $600+ per month. As for the food, dog likes it but his poops are soft still after a month, and his butt seems irritated. I’ll be going back to homemade.

Sundays is engaged in a fraud to ship excess food. They do this by (a) shipping at a substantially faster rate than scheduled (shipping every 18 days when 28 days is selected, in my case) and (b) by shipping two days before the deadline they give you to edit your order. Sunday's fraud has resulted in shipping me nearly $1000 in extra food. I don't know if Sundays is deliberately trying to screw their customer of if they simply have a terrible system that is screwing up orders but customer service seems incapable/unwilling to acknowledge the problem. I contrast my experience with Sundays to my experience with Farmer's Pet and Ollie. Famer's Pet was always super responsive and Ollie went above and beyond to fix any problems. Both shipped their food on the agreed upon schedule. Both of them allowed changes up until the stated deadline to make changes (and even later, in cases). Neither of them shipped sooner than scheduled or before I had a chance to edit my order. In terms of the food itself, it isn't great. My dog liked the chicken flavor alright but it gave her diarrhea. I switched to turkey and her stools were firmer but still very soft, however she did not like the taste at all. If you want to be inundated with food that neither you nor your dog want, then Sundays is a good choice. If you want a company that simply delivers on its promise, then stay away from Sundays.

Dog loved the food. My elderly, inactive dog lost weight on recommended portion. Vet told me to increase amount. Ordered a shipment in advance of scheduled subscription date because I could see we were going to run out and it took 12 days to receive it. Had to cold turkey start on another food. My elderly dog suffered as a result. Not at all happy with the outcome. I chose this food to improve dog’s health. Not viable at the price point and with the unreliable shipping. Too bad. The company’s words of regret are poor compensation for the $219 I lost because they refused to accept a return and the $250 vet bill to resolve the gastrointestinal distress and prescription food. I’m not a fan.

Ordered on May 3rd—no shipment, no update. After two days with no response, the rep I was talking to just stopped replying. I had to track down someone else who finally helped. Meanwhile, my dog’s diet got thrown off. Disappointing experience for a premium pet food company. if my dog didn’t love sundays i would stop ordering from here. we will see what i decide.

The food itself is high quality with great ingredients and my dog loved it. But the calorie calculations are alarmingly off. My dog lost 15lbs due to their calorie recommendation. The customer service is atrocious. You can hardly get a hold of anyone and their phone number doesn’t work. Their chat is unreliable. If customer service does respond it will be automated and generic as hell. Would not recommend Sundays to anyone moving forward.

I’ve been a Sundays customer since June 2024. My dogs have been on the same recipe (Turkey) for the duration. However, with our last shipment the Turkey recipe visually looked remarkably different - much lighter color (How much lighter? Think food that was always dark brown to brown and is now light beige) and with a harder, chalkier texture. I contacted Sunday’s and even provided picture evidence (wish I could attach the pic with this review) but the only response that I was given was the variation in color is due to the food being handmade and color variations can and do happen. Sure if the color change was a shade or two different, but not to this degree! And what about the change in texture?! It’s more like missing ingredients or production issues. And why do I think this? After almost a year of consistent food color and texture, the stark, undeniable changes in the food appearance are most certainly questionable and I cannot feed this “new” food to my dogs because I can’t trust it. And Sundays lack of follow up with this issue speaks volumes…they apparently don’t care about quality assurance. For all the reviewers who claimed Sunday’s customer service is lacking, I wholeheartedly agree. Subscription cancelled.

I asked some questions and no one ever responded.

This company used to provide excellent customer service. This last time it is like nobody is there. I did not need my shipment last month and I tried to cancel. The system gave me an error so I texted and got no response. I sent an email then started getting reminders every 2 days that my order was getting ready to ship. I went into my account and changed out my credit card for one that had been cancelled. After weeks of these reminders they finally sent me an email saying they were cancelling my subscription. How sad. My dogs really liked this food as a backup source when I couldn't make their meals. This has taught me a lot about how NOT to run my company. My company Hempexco will always provide great customer service or it will be shut down. I will not tolerate bad customer service and if I cannot provide it, I will not be in business.
