Jill Sinclair seems to agree with the behavior of her staff and disregard for human decency. Again Jill was not present when her staff member hung up the phone regarding my issues but somehow feels that I WAS aggressive. I only drove to the office to confront the raggedy woman who was disrespectful and I will continue to stand on that! Do better sun community!!! Call anytime Ms Sinclair because I’d love to discuss the issue.. thanks, ps you have cameras so you know what happened!!!

1st complaint is constant water outages the 3yrs I've been here they have water issues since day 1. They used to give out cases of bottled water till people started hording some had stacks of cases on their Lani. No more of that. They have had water trucks here portable showers you name it. 2nd They have staff that got in big argument with resident not 1st time that staff member was involved in conflict with people the guy was a big lazy jerk. They kicked girl out bulldozed her home. Where else would staff argue like that and keep their job? DONT LET SUN COMMUNITIES HANDLE ANY SALE YOUR INVOLVED IN !! I bought a place they got the seller for 1k and added 2.5k to the purchase price for dealing with the paperwork at the DMV. Should have cost about 500$ to transfer title and get a plate & registration. So do all the paperwork yourself. They already take 1k from every sale even if they DO NOTHING. Total Rip off. The residents mostly are great. We enjoy that part. Staff are nice except the JERK and he left finally !! Hot tub is broke most of the time even with a professional pool service !! They need cameras here to monitor the grounds broken windows slashed tires , break ins ,people driving wrong all the time, racing golf carts actual racing each other !! People complaining about others while doing same exact stuff themselves. The usual stuff that happens all over they could stop but make no effort to do so. They made 1/2 a BILLION last year but they need to raise rent ?? TO INCREASE PROFIT NOT TO AVOID LOSING MONEY.

Signed a 1 year lease. Big Mistake. Seemed nice at first, but the bushnell site is not what it looks like. Locals use the facility as their dumping grounds. Laundry is dirty, full of dog hair, and like the rest of the facilities used by people outside of the community. Also people are not vetted properly. Had a drugged out woman across from my camper leaving garbage outside her camper, and never cleaning up after her dogs, or leashing them. Complained to the office, and 6 MONTHS later she is still there doing all the same things. Wanted to leave and break the lease, but they would not let me and I had to pay the last 4 months of rent even though I didnt live there. Also I somehow generated a water, sewer, and electric bill even though the camper was unhooked, shut off, and packed up.

After Sun Communities replaced out water/sewer meters under our homes (which most of us own) we were told that the heat tape on our pipes would be "checked." Well, seems the heat tape was removed. We were told, via email (November 13, 2024), that the heat tape would be replaced at "20 homes per day" and they were working over the weekend to do so. It's a small park, approximately 150 homes, but we've seen little done. Next week we will have temps in the teens and single digits. As a senior on a limited income, I cannot afford to have my pipes damaged. I am NOT the only one here in this situation! We are all concerned! Wha'????

Have lived at Sunrise Estates in Banning Ca for 10 years. Sun Communities has done nothing to improve our park-many promises. Rent & Pass Thru Tax went up $90 in February. Sun Communities is a horrible company-don't give a damn about their parks or residents. Management & maintenance have always been pleasant & helpful.

I am a disabled veteran living in Sweetwater R.V. Park in Z Hills Florida and I have never witnessed such a tattle tale environment and sneaky style management system. Even the residents are miserable and can't mind their own business and add the cat problem that is ridiculous not to mention nasty. My pets safety as well as mine is in jeopardy daily due to the cats running lose but a dog must be on a leash or some cat lady will lose her mind! I would never allow my dog to run lose but it's a discriminatory policy since this is private property! I commented on a stolen e bike this morning and because one of the Yankee administrators who is in new yuck did not like my response so with no warning she abused her authority and removed me from the fb page, I will try to cope but it was childish! Stay away from this place.

We have been camping for 30 years at Lake in wood campground now Sun Community. When Claus owned the property you could see the pride he and his family put into the facility. Today after years of Sun taking over...its all about making the shareholders happy. They are slowly going to all seasonal sites. Transients will soon not be welcome here. Why purchase a $100,000 camper if you can't go where you want. Our site G2 is being turned into seasonal in 2024 we are told. U can't have it. But we have some limited sites you might fit in. Not what I want to hear. Many of the site we used to stay at turned seasonal also. So the scraps are left for the rest of us. The "unwanted" sites that don't fit their seasonal standards. It's a sad time to be a transient camper. So take your facility, it's yours. Make your shareholders happy. It's all got to be about money,money money. I don't live for money. Life is to short.

I am a senior citizen and have dealing with Sun Homes for 3 years and everytime it rains,it floods the Walkway and in the winter I have an ice rink and with me in my 70s and I fall and break something there will be a HUGE problem because I was told it was my problem, IT'S NOT MY PROPERTY!!!!! Then I have to pay taxes on a stupid shed that ISN'T even mine I feel should be covered in the lot rent. As far as the lot rent which high for somebody on a fixed income and there is nothing we get as an amenity. I was told "you got new mail boxes", I'm sorry that is corporates responsibility as well as the roads needing fixed. Problem with some corporations they have forgotten who keeps them in business and they do not care. I used to like where I live but not anymore!
