The company was already here when we purchased the house, so we went ahead and continued to use them and fulfilled our contract for the year. 2.19 a gallon is highway robbery around here when everyone else is 1.30-1.75 per gallon. They filled my tank without me calling in and I found the bill in our bushes already a month late. I paid that off and didn't request anymore. I ran the tank down and switched over to our new company and called them to pick their tank up on my to get a 153.00 bill in the mail with no explanation of the bill or anything. When I called in to ask I was told by the company here that the bill was paid in full and they had no idea why I received one. I called the main collections dept. And they informed me the bill was the rental and the pickup fee. I informed them I was never told about a pickup fee for an empty tank and I advised them to bring it back then. They said they would check into what was going on, i in turn informed them if they continued to bill me to get their stuff then i would be sending over an invoice of my own for the amount of time their tank used up space on my property. If you truly dont want your tank then I would gladly keep it myself and save us all of this headache. Money hungry is all they seem to be.

OMG! They have been my propane service for 10 years and they let me run out again! It has happened so many times I can't believe it! It's their job! You'd think they'd want to stop by and check so they can sell me more propane. I thought we finally got straightened out. They had me on a schedule to fill it up every 2 months. You'd think with their history of letting us run out that they would be careful and make sure....NOPE! Guess what happened after 2 and a half months?....WE RAN OUT OF PROPANE! They let it go to long, AGAIN! They didn't bother to stick to the schedule that we needed and we ran out again! UNBELIEVABLE!

Word worst customer service provider. They earn money from customer sending bill without delivery propane. Be careful when they fill propane on the tank. Manager might have taken money from the driver. Please never do any business with this company. Without filling Tank They charge $199.31. Once I complain with valid prove their Manager misbehave with me like he will take share money from the driver.

Terrible company. Driver came to my house to fill my already full tank. Delivered 0 gallons and sent me a bill for $13.50. FOR WHAT!!!??? When I addressed it they made it sound like they could do nothing so I told them to pick up the tank. They didn't care about that either and agreed to pick up my tank and lose a customer like it's nothing.

I signed up with Suburban three years ago, because that was the previous owner’s provider. I have been shocked by the over-charges, which exceeded $4 a gallon — when I questioned it, they said it was because I buy less than 400 gallons a year. THREE other providers were $2 a gallon cheaper (and an additional $1 a gallon for the first year). Suburban charges a tank fee of $60 per year AND they charge $150 to TAKE AWAY the tank when you decide not to let them rob you with exorbitant fees. Oh... and when I returned a tank — they reimbursed $1.19 a gallon — not the $4 a gallon they currently charge. GO ELSEWHERE!

Would really rate with zero stars! They have not showed up for six appointments and never call to proactively reschedule, and will not make a commitment as to when they will actually show up.

I had an account with them for 12 years and I suffered the first 4 years, because they stopped fuel delivery in the middle of winter, always on or around Martin Luther King weekend, while my business is a B&B near a ski mountain with no heat! It was OK for a while after those 4 years but the last few years it's happening again, and now they are giving attitude with it(customer service!). Last winter was the ultimatum, after having frozen my poor father of 86 year's old out of the house, with -20 degree temperatures and not delivering heating oil for almost 2 weeks, and sending every day a person hauling jerrycans of fuel, which burned up during the night. This all because customer service reason was it wasn't convenient for a truck to come, because it wasn't on the route and we just had to wait. In the mean time I am trying to run a business...a ski-business, with no heat. The worst company ever and finally changed, but that was also a problem. I have been calling almost every week to have the propane tank removed, so I can get credit for it, for the last 6 weeks after cancelling the contract. In the mean time they are sending me a bill with late charges....That's exactly why I left: Incompetent customer service!
