Very poor customer service. I strongly recommend avoiding this shop.
I submitted an RMA as instructed after a part was lost during shipping and requested a refund so I could move forward with my vehicle repair. I was told I would be contacted within 48 hours, but no one ever followed up. I reached out twice on my own, and both times they refused to assist.
Now they are claiming the part cannot be returned because it is classified as electronics (coil pack and injector), despite the fact that it is still in its original sealed packaging, completely unopened and never used. To make matters worse, they are now denying that I ever contacted them about this issue.
This is completely unacceptable. I would advise others to avoid this shop entirely.

Thank you for your feedback. We apologize for the frustration and delay you experienced. While electronic components such as coil packs and injectors are generally non-returnable under our policy, we were able to obtain an exception for this order. The return has been approved, and the part may be sent back for processing. We appreciate your patience while we worked to resolve the matter. Your feedback is essential for improving our services.

Nearly Two Months Dealing With a Return — Still No Refund
I would strongly caution anyone considering a large purchase from SubaruPartsDeal.com to understand what may happen if you need to return something.
I placed order VS36183088 on July 31, 2026, which included a Subaru control valve body priced at $975.47, plus shipping. I later determined that I needed a different part and contacted SubaruPartsDeal.com to arrange a return.
I followed their RMA process and the return was approved. Their RMA instructions stated that the 20% restocking fee could be waived if I purchased the correct replacement part from them and provided the new order number. I did exactly that. I placed replacement order VS54181762 on August 24, 2026, provided them the order information, and SubaruPartsDeal.com subsequently confirmed in writing that the restocking fee was waived.
On September 2, they provided me with their own prepaid FedEx return label. I used that label to return the part.
FedEx tracking 876664320129 confirms that the return was delivered to their return location in Reno, Nevada on September 9, 2026 at 12:58 PM.
As of September 28, 2026 — 19 days after confirmed delivery — I still have not received my refund.
I have contacted customer service repeatedly throughout this process, primarily by phone. The pattern has been essentially the same: I’m told that I will receive an email with an update, but the issue remains unresolved.
On September 17, eight days after FedEx had already confirmed delivery, SubaruPartsDeal.com emailed me stating that they still needed to “confirm that the return was received, inspected, and approved” and apologized for the delay.
I continued following up. During my most recent phone conversation on Friday, I was expecting an answer because of what I had previously been told. Instead, I was informed that the matter had been escalated to a manager, with no actual resolution or timeframe for when my refund would be issued.
This is especially frustrating because I did everything SubaruPartsDeal.com asked me to do. I obtained their RMA approval, purchased the correct replacement part from them, provided the replacement order number, received confirmation that the restocking fee would be waived, used their own FedEx return label, and FedEx confirms that their return location received the package.
At this point, they have had the returned part for 19 days and I am still chasing them for my money.
I don’t have an issue with the Subaru parts themselves. My issue is entirely with the return/refund process and customer service. A return should not require weeks of phone calls and repeated promises of future updates after the company has already received the merchandise.
Based on my experience, I would not make another large purchase from SubaruPartsDeal.com. The possibility of having to go through this process again if a return were necessary simply isn’t worth it.

Wrong color part sent
Wrong color part sent. False advertisement of color for door handle
Response from SubaruPartsDeal.comAug 4, 2026
Hi Nick,
Thank you for your feedback.
When a part has a manufacturer supersession, our site discloses the information in the description with “REPLACED BY” followed by the updated part number.
While the part number you received is indeed unpainted, rest assured the fitment will be exact.
We appreciate your understanding and are here to help if you have any further questions.

They Refuse Returns And Ghost You.
Ordered a part from them, they swapped the part on the order out with no notification or heads-up, the part they sent was wrong and did not include everything that was in the original description. When I reasonably ask for a refund to get the correct part from them, they confirm the request. Fast forward two weeks I have to call customer service to get a response to my request, denied becasue it has electronics, even though they SENT THE WRONG PART. Ask them if they can take another look and give me my refund, it has been over a month and they have never sent a response since despite reassurance that they would. DO NOT trust this shady, scummy company. Here I am out 150 dollars becasue they refuse me a refund, return, or response.
Edit: Called again to get my return, the supervisor was rude and unprofessional, and upon reading the terms they say that they will "check the item for damage" and withhold a refund if it is. Seems like another tactic to keep my money, I guarantee if I ship the item I received back, it will somehow be "damaged", leaving me with no part, and no refund.

Thank you for your feedback. We understand how frustrating it can be when a manufacturer supersedes a part number and the contents of the part change from what was originally expected. Our website follows the OEM manufacturer's catalog, and when a part number is superseded, the listing reflects the information provided by the manufacturer. We apologize for the confusion this caused and appreciate you bringing it to our attention. Your feedback is essential for improving our services.

Torque converter busted in 22 miles after installing. Would like money back if possible. Had to replace entire transmission.
Response from SubaruPartsDeal.comJun 23, 2026
Hi there,
Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear about the issue you experienced after installation. If you believe the torque converter may be defective, please submit a Warranty RMA request so we could assist you further.
Warranty claims typically require inspection documentation to determine the cause of the failure and whether the part qualifies for warranty coverage. Our team will be happy to assist you through that process.
We appreciate your feedback and look forward to helping resolve this matter. For more information regarding warranty, please visit: https://www.subarupartsdeal.com/service/subaru-return_policy.html

Hi Lachlan,
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us.
We’re truly sorry to hear about the trouble you experienced, and we understand how disappointing this situation must be. For any concerns regarding your order, an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) is required so we could further assist you.
We’ve looked into your order, and unfortunately it falls outside our 30-day return/RMA window. Because of this, we’re unable to process a replacement or return at this time. We know this isn’t the outcome you were hoping for, and we sincerely apologize for the frustration this may cause.
