Horrible!!!unprofessional condescending. This is robbery and a scam. They should be looked into. I have been trying to change my flight since I made the mistake of booking it. I called numerous times trying to cancel it and I’d get a dial tone and Hang up or no one answered at all. I emailed and used twitter to try and change or cancel it to a one way and the emailed me back late and with a careless “apology” on the fact that it took them so long to get back to me just to tell me to call them. I called after being on hold forever and spoke to this rude, unhelpful guy who gave me the run around just to tell me he couldn’t do anything about it. When I spoke to the airline they told me they were able to change and modify flights but that they’ve heard many complaints and advice not to book with questionable third party sites specifically this one. I called back just to talk to another guy being condemned and glazing over all my complaints and wasn’t even trying to listen. He claimed that they let you know the call is being recorded but they never do and that’s illegal where I live. I don’t want to lose 1600 dollars bc they don’t want to work with me even though you are able to change a flight within 24 hours of booking but they don’t follow many policies, rules and regulations that’s why they’re sketchy. Now I’m stuck with 4 tickets and 2 I’m not going to be able to use. I’m out more than 1600

Unfortunately after an initial flight cancellation, Student Universe was unable to get us a return flight home within 28 days, meaning we were going to be stranded for 28 days. They refused to sort out alternative flights and are honestly the worst agency I have ever come across. We had to independently book flights home directly through the airlines webpage, as we couldnt afford hotel accommmodation and expenses for 28 days, however all up it cost us an extra $10,000 to get home because of Student Universe. We refuse to use them and when I am asked if they're trustworthy, the answer is always NO.

I had a horrible experience from airport staff and contacted studentuniverse but they were unresponsive. I tried contacting them multiple times. I contacted my bank and the airlines directly who gave me the refund for $1700 for the inconvenience. But these crazy people, not only did they rebilled my account after4 MONTHS with $1700 again, even after telling all the details what happened, they as a merchant straightaway lied to the airlines to finally rebilling the amount from my card again. This is the worst website you could choose for getting $10 bucks of discount and then you’re going to suffer later and you could never expect any help from them. Studentuniverse are very active only when it comes to sucking money out of your pocket. They told the airlines I cancelled the ticket, but in reality I was talking about the one way ticket where i experienced this whole situation, not during the return ticket which I cancelled later. (For which I never received the refund btw) I would never ever recommend anybody to book from this website it’s a total scam they don’t care about the passengers at all!!!

When you are a student, you are looking for cheap flights with baggage allowance. As a student, I bought a ticket from the student universe website. First, they do not have a refund option. Second, they do not specify the baggage allowance on their e-ticket. On the ticket, they have a link to go to the website of the airline. Which I did and I saw 38 kg at first, then at the last minute 0 bag allowance. I called their customer service. To my surprise, they responded it is our policy and you had to pay attention to it when you bought the ticket. We do not specify the baggage allowance and we do not have a refund option. I paid 662 £ for my baggage. The airline also did not change the 0 to the regular since they cannot change it. Interestingly the regular ticket with baggage allowance was cheaper than the student universe ticket that I bought two weeks earlier. It is a scam. Be careful.

Student universe charges, exorbitant fees for any changes or cancellation. The worst part is that you get different answers from each representatives on what the cancellation fee should be. They charged me an almost 40% cancellation fee for a flight that is 2 months away. They are clearly doing something illegal. That’s why they have to charge you for the cancellation fee separately. Please read the ticket terms and conditions before you book 🙏🏼

It’s been over 24 hours since I booked a flight. The payment page timed out yet they still took the money instantly. I have received no receipt or confirmation other than it is qued for ticketing. Absolutely ridiculous customer service. Will be contacting my bank to try reverse charges if nothing is received today and escalating this to the relevant ombudsman.

StudentUniverse sells products they label “economy”. Airlines company translates into basic economy… very misleading since on 2 round trip tickets to Europe, you end up paying an extra $400 for checked bags. but Cancellation is an option; however, not only you have wasted some time in the booking and are extremely disappointed for not going on vacation yet, they charge fees on insurance cancellation! I lost $22+ on 2 tickets; really unfair because I was misled at the first place. Will never use again.

4th November recorded call 'yes you can have a full credit for a payment of £100 to be used within 12 months. 6th November 'we've listened to the call and we did say that but it was a lie and you can't' Thoughts? Update 8th November. Still not doing what you said you would do. Booking ref GYBAES. Your commitment on the phone looks like a contractural agreement (just making sure) and as such I will be taking you (Adam Murray) to court unless you do what you agreed.
