I booked a multi city trip and the flights I booked didn’t match with the flights I got. When I contacted the customer care, I was told to cancel the booking for a full refund. This is not my fault that this happened and the issue is supposed to be resolved by putting me on the correct flight that I booked for. I spoke to several customer care agents and lastly they made me pay extra to change a flight that I had no intention of changing. This is absolutely not fair. And I need them to take responsibility and pay me back for what I never wanted.

i booked a flight and had to change it to credits and put it into my dads name after the laws in australia changed with travel restrictions again. the cost of name change was crazy and there was an additional cost for his age being different as well. i felt rushed on the phone and got his middle name wrong by mistake ( i didnt have all of his details in front of me at the time as i was unsure how the change over would work). i called again to change his middle name thinking that because it was such a small error and shouldnt matter too much, as well as already having paid a very expensive name change rate, that they may try help out a little more but then was told i had to pay $80. they seem to have got that price wrong because after expressing annoyance over it, it was somehow back down to $44. pretty suss and just a stupid amount of fees for a time when our countries rules are forever changing. would never use again.

It does not show fares for Wizz air, I do not know whether that is part of there policy for low cost carrier. I do not advise for it. you need to explore and create attractive fares.

These reviews must be fake. Read the reviews through other review sites. Studentuniverse suck! I gave them two chances and they still failed me.

It's complicated

The customer service was terrible-none of the service reps had any idea what they were doing and often gave different informations. The flights i had to cancel were credited in flight credits but these credits were only to be used under very strict conditions (within a few months, with all the original booking members), making it near impossible to rebook. Spent hours on the phone clarifying this, each time getting a different answer. Would never use again. Edit: They never “reached out” as mentioned here to help rebook and as mentioned, I am unable to rebook as my credit expire before I am able to use them. I have emailed and not received a response back from student universe.

Every time I book through student universe I’ve had the most stressful experience, from checking in to flights to changing flights. It’s frustrating that there are never check-in reminder emails, let alone email receipts containing flight information. I downloaded the app so that I could view my itinerary and this never loaded once. The website is also not user friendly. Changing flights is a nightmare with customer service, where the Student Universe discount has become not worth the frustration where booking through airlines themselves can simply switch flights without issue. I will try to avoid Student Universe as much as possible.

Your company is fucing stupid. The credit card used for the purchase is the second passenger. But still doing “credit card protect” things and just cancel my flight without notify me. Finally I have pay extra money for the total same flight. Funny thing is I booked two flight together. The first cheaper one has the issue. The second one do not. Garbage company ever, I will never use it again.
