Cancelling the service is a nightmare!
Their business model is to take your money legally, via contract, but they make verbal commitments that hold no legal weight. I found out with my Renew Active account I could get the same service with a competitor at no cost, however, StretchZone doesn't honor it. Also, I was told I could cancel after the initial 90 days, which was my fault for signing up, but that hasn't happened, AT ALL! So the first week I sent an email cancelling their service and another and called several times. No responses to anything, except to take money out of my account automatically. The contract states you must give 30 days written notice (email is sufficient in court), but they are ignoring that, so I'm sending it by certified mail. One last item, I was told verbally that the unused sessions never expire, which would have stopped me from signing up, had I been told the truth. However, now I read in the contract under section 9. Expiration that you have 90 days to use it, unless you have a medical or military exception. The other issue is I had to close out my bank account as they are known to continue billing AFTER the request to close the account was receive, as in forever I would think. Apparently they like to use the rule of law when it suits them, but ignore it otherwise. I regret ever having gone in to this place and I really don't like being lied to my face by employees, just to get me to sign up. If they are still in business in a few years, I will be shocked! What is bad is I never used their service, other than the original "free" visit. I reasoned they could easily do something to cause a physical issue by overstretching me to get back at me for this review, so I never went back. I have zero trust with them.
