Another scam terms of service update. Keep trying to cancel my subscription and it sends me around in login circles.

I genuinely thought I was signing up for a free trial with Strava. Instead, I was charged £54 immediately, with no warning that the payment would be taken straight away. I requested a refund through Apple, but the request was refused. Since I was now out £54, I figured I might as well use the premium features I supposedly paid for. But when I opened the Strava app, I was greeted with another prompt offering a free trial, and I still couldn’t access any premium features. It was as if I hadn’t paid at all. At this point, I’ve paid £54 for nothing. No premium access, no support, and no refund. Extremely frustrating and disappointing experience. I expected better transparency and customer service from a company as big as Strava. Would not recommend

Trotz rechtzeitiger Kündigung meiner einjährigen Strava Mitgliedschaft wurde mein Abonnement um ein Jahr verlängert. Grund: Man muss die Kündigung in Apple Account unter Abos vollziehen und nicht nur in der Strava App. Hinterhältig dabei ist, dass einem in der Strava App angezeigt wird, dass man rechtzeitig gekündigt hat und das Abonnement zum Zeitpunkt x endet. In meinem Fall wurde es dann einfach um ein Jahr verlängert, da ich nicht zusätzlich in Apple Abos gekündigt hatte. Der Kundenservice, entschuldigt sich dafür und schreibt mir zurück, dass er dafür nicht verantwortlich sei, sondern ich mich an Apple wenden müsse. Von Apple erhalte ich keine Antwort. Somit entzieht sich Strava der Verantwortung und mein Geld werde ich nicht zurückgehalten.

Oplichters! Geen 30 dagen proefperiode zoals beloofd. Er werd onmiddellijk 69,99 afgeschreven van mijn rekening. Na directe melding werd terugbetaling geweigerd. Ben niet de enige blijkbaar!?

Don't even download it. It will malfunction on a regular basis. Ran a 5k and it only recorded 1.5 miles of it. Afterwards, I felt disappointed and upset that I was cheated out of my achievement by some broken app. In summary: it is a scam. It even expects you to pay after a while. I deleted it, and I would recommend you do yourself a favor by getting rid of it too.

Find a solution with Garmin. 80% of users in Strava have a Garmin device … no solution - no Strava App it’s simple.. Garmin rules .. I and many others will go .. you need work on that segment … now Michael Garmin / Strava user for 10 years

There's no doubting that Strava has helped tens of millions of athletes record & analyse their activities, helping with training & enjoyment. The mainstay has been the leaderboards, which they have now monetised by making them subscription only. It's a shame then that they don't use the reported $500 million in annual recurring revenue, to invest in decent customer support and improve their dreadful sub-par AI Athlete Intelligence programme, which can't even count or recognise KoM achievements!

Ik baal ervan dat regelmatig de app gewoon gestopt is (terwijl ik wel heb gecheckt of ie is gestart). Dan wil je uiteindelijk kijken hoeveel je gelopen hebt, en dan is er niets meer te zien. Ms kan de app dan geen gps vinden, maar het valt me op dat het de ene keer in hetzelfde gebied goed gaat en de andere keer niet. Het is dus niet maar één keer gebeurd, maar onderhand tig keer en ik ben het echt zat. Het voelt niet alsof ik de app kan vertrouwen.
