Not worth the trouble.
Never again. Not a single thing in this so called hotel works as promised. Scams and lies are the standard they seem to run things by with as you end up paying for services that are not what they were promised to be and nobody in the staff is willing to do anything to help you when problems emerge. Not much of an relaxing holiday when every day you have to spend time to complain about basic things and all you get back is just people avoiding responsibilities and outright lying to you just to get rid of you at that specific moment. First of all we were sold an upgrade on our room when we arrived and it eventually turned out that the upgraded room did not differ from our original room in any other way than only a minimally larger bathroom, everything else was EXACTLY the same even though we were promised better accessories and what not. The room also lacked a lot in promised features, such as the safe in our room was broken. We ended up complaining about the safe for all throughout our one week stay. The staff kept promising someone would come and inspect the safe but that never happened, so we were left with no other option than to carry our valuables with us the whole week, which is not great in a city like Vegas. Also the wifi kept logging off for some reason and there were days that we weren't able to use it at all. Once again we complained about this and nothing was done regarding the issue. We were told to contact the wifi support (FYI this SHOULD NOT be something the customer has to do in my opinion) by phone, which surprisingly did not work in our room. Because of this we were made to switch rooms in the middle of the night, because "it's a safety hazard". Like nobody has a cell phone nowadays or anything. So we changed the rooms and were promised the same type of room we paid for in the upgrade but were eventually given a lower grade room than we originally had booked (This being the point when we realized we'd been scammed regarding the features of the upgrade). Once again the staff was more than reluctant to aid us in any way so we had to demand to speak to the manager who was able to at least refund the costs of the upgrade but we were still left with the lower grade room because "The hotel is fully booked". Needless to say that the safe and the wifi did not work in the new room either. Also we were lied to that the new room was "One of the lately renovated ones", which it certainly wasn't based on the obvious water damage the floor panel had suffered in the room and the 30 year old AC that made such a terrible noise it couldn't be used during nighttime. And to top all these lies and scams the biggest was the True Rewards loyalty program. It was a huge pain to even get the True Rewards card in the first place but the only points it gathered were the ones from slot machines, not from the restaurants, bars or anything, even though every single person in the staff verified that the said services do rack up the points and with a multiplier for that matter. Once again when we confronted the staff about the issue, no-one suddenly knew anything about this. I was asked if I had the receipts and when I said of course, they just replied that nothing can be done regarding this situation. So clearly they took a shot that nobody keeps receipts anymore and when their gamble didn't pay they just avoided the responsibility to do their job. Last but not least while checking out I made a complaint that nothing throughout our stay ended up being what we paid for or were promised and I demanded some kind of an refund. Big surprise the staff once again didn't know how to do anything so they gave me an email to make the complaint afterwards. And of course the email address turned out bogus so that's another lie for the pile. The guy didn't even know where the taxis did their pick ups at the hotel property so with that level of expertise what can you ask for, I guess. Long story short, don't waste your time or money on this place. Believe me you have better things to do on your holiday than to fight over every little thing that was promised but not kept. There's bound to be better quality hotels in Las Vegas after all.
