Review: The Sirui AM-124 is an Entry-Level Game Changer As an entry-level photographer, finding the "sweet spot" between professional quality and a budget-friendly price can feel like a mission. After researching dozens of tripods, I finally landed on the Sirui AM-124, and I am so grateful I did. Performance & Build The first thing that strikes you is the weight. For someone who doesn't want to be weighed down during a long day of shooting, this tripod is awesome. It’s light enough to carry anywhere but feels incredibly sturdy once it’s locked into place. The carbon fiber quality is top-tier, giving me the confidence that my gear is safe without the "overpriced" tag usually associated with high-end tripods.

I recently purchased the 85mm f/1.4 Aurora lens Z mount, but unfortunately, I encountered an autofocus issue that resulted in consistently blurry and out-of-focus images, regardless of the settings used. I contacted Sirui’s customer service team to explain the problem, and they promptly responded with a shipping label to return the defective lens. Within two days, I received a brand-new replacement that is now functioning perfectly. I am thoroughly impressed with Sirui’s exceptional customer service and efficient resolution of the issue. Great company. If I were to criticize, I would say the initial response for customer support is a bit delayed, but once you’re in contact, it’s pretty much realtime as email conversations go. Regardless, I’m able to support my family, using their products. I wholeheartedly enjoy using their tools!
