Disgusting company! First your approved, then nothing but scripted crap responses from them when you pass the 48 hour mark (that they give you) and ask, only to find out 4 WEEKS LATER your no longer approved, AFTER you get the loan offer and accept it to begin with. And the best part, the reason they aren't approving it is WRONG. (No future income? Really? Been at my job 20+ years!) I'll be spending some time leaving this EVERYWHERE i can to warn people! Contacting the attorney general.

Said loan was approved, I accepted loan as instructed, never heard back from Stilt. I sent messages via chat, email and called to follow up, was told it was in review. After a week I was told my application timed out, which was a lie, I accepted and submitted required documents with no additional request or communication from Stilt. This reeks of deceptive practice and discriminatory lending since it appears they only lend to immigrants.

I knew this would not be a good deal as soon as they wanted my ID and password for my bank account. No one should ask for that information. All they need is bank routing number and account number! Been scammed before! Not again!! Beware!!

If you look at the names of the people who wrote a good review then beware of this company just collecting information.

I applied and was approved for $2500. They told me to sign the promissory letter which I did, they then inform me it will be deposit into my account 3-5 business days, so on the 6 day which was a Firday I call them back on Monday and they inform me I signed the sign the promissory note on the 9th and I signed on the 6th day I emailed them and showed them a photo of my signature and no response. Hear the kicker I connected my bank with them and I ask about why is my number changed on the promissory letter and they inform me that my bank does that for privacy reason, I called my bank no such thing. I will not pay for a loan that has never been disbursed to my account. Please stay away this is a scam. All these comments are not real. I’m going to my local police station and my bank to change my account. And if they try to put on my credit report I have all my documents. Please everyone I begging stay away

They tout they are for the underserved, but that’s not the case.

I have very short credit history and needed a small loan and thought stilt would be perfect since the help the under served. I was denied the loan. which was ok I prepared myself for that. but the reasons were way off. I have a credit score of 697 with short history. I have two credit cards with 8% usage(paid off every month) reason for denial: too many accounts with balances. insufficient evidence of future income to make future payments. I am employed full time and have been working at the same place for 17 years. If their system is automated then they fix the system I checked my transunion report and the only thing that they say keeping me back is a short credit history. I hope they fix their responses because it is upsetting to see being rejected for incorrect reasons.

I read the whole Newsweek article about how Stilt do not only rely on credit. But, at 7:02 today, I received an email today being denied because of my credit. With a fair credit rating and I have a large net income; I should have been approved. Because, if they accept people with no credit and no Social security number, I definitely should have been given a chance. I have over 30 months of on time payments! I believe that I was not approve because I am not an immigrant and I am Black! I would love ti know just how many people of my race that they actually approve! I just got off work and see an email for Stilt. Liza asked me for six months of statements and a voided check. How can I receive an adverse, denial for the loan at 7:02 am yesterday! Then, today they want to verify my income! I never use the race card! But, I called it right. They saw both my ID's; then denied me!
