The turnaround on the railing I ordered Beautiful piece of Poplar

Thank you for your kind remark about our workmanship and the quick service with your handrail arrival! Particularly, we hope the value from our Made in the USA stair parts was shown through and through. We hope that you will share with others about StepUP Stair through the beautiful railings provided.

Screws themselves were so overloaded with black paint that I could not tell whether they were to be used with Torx , Phillips, Hexagonal, or square drive tools. Ruined several screws trying different sizes of several types. Threw away the screws and used black drywall screws. Shipping was far, FAR too much ($67) for a small box of 4 struts.

We thank you for your product review, James. Unfortunately we weren't notified of this issue. If we were, we would have replaced them. It seems as if there was a product batch defect; we haven't received previous concerns with this item. Also, our shipping cost include handling and processing fees; perhaps we could have assisted in this regard. Without the opportunity to provide 100% satisfaction, we can’t strive towards our typical outstanding 5-star product and service reviews.

Their website was easy to navigate and order from. The best part about their website is it shows you quick-ship/in-stock parts. We were on a time crunch so it was super helpful to know which parts we could get fast. The parts arrived in a timely manner and were exactly as described. The stairs came out beautiful!
